I remember this place use be a hometown buffet restaurant before it shut down years ago it was very pack and busy on sundays use come here every sunday after church for lunch before they closed it down and made it to an dance school wonder why they closed it

My daughter has been here for 8 months and she has enjoyed ever second of it. I enjoy how well they communicate with the parents and how interactive they are with the small kids. I recommend this place 100% to anyone who is looking for a well instructed dance school.

This studio is extremely unprofessional. Unprofessional teachers, and all the way up to the owner and director. The secretary has clearly no business sense or training in customer service at all. I have seen first hand several disturbing things in a few short months: children being stretched and taught moves that are extremely dangerous and harmful to a growing body and I have serious questions about where any of the staff were trained and if they have training at all. Parents screaming at each other ,other parents cursing in front of children all under the watchful eye of the director who doesn't do anything to provide a loving, professional environment for children to learn. It seems if your child is not on the competition team (which has a yearly expense of at least $5000-$10,000 not including tuition) they have no use for your child and there is little to no Reason for them to waste time on them. I have compared prices with other studios and just for classes alone Sandras Studio charges upwards of $15-$30 more than an average studio per class. If you do have an extra $10,000 to spend a year on inappropriate costumes, choreography and overpriced classes for your child to compete, this may be right place, but for good quality dance classes , save your money and go to a studio that values you and your child and hires qualified teachers and staff who enjoy what they do.

So appalled by the cherography my daughter was learning. The best thing about a child is their innocence. There's many other studios that have amazing cherography without exploiting the child. Sick!

My daughter has been dancing at SSD for two years now, we've spent the last year on the competition team and I couldn't ask for a better dance studio. The family environment is amazing, welcoming and beneficial for the students. My daughter, even though only 5, has blossomed at Sandra's. Her self confidence is incredible and the instruction and motivation provided by the teachers is priceless. I love that gymnastics is incorporated to the classes, not only is she learning ballet, tap, jazz and hip-hop, she is learning the correct way to do gymnastics. I would highly recommend this studio to anyone looking. Sandra, the owner and her staff are amazing.

I have never seen such unprofessional teachers with an exception of Miss. Ann Marie, the tap teacher. The only reason my daughter has continued going to the school is because of the skills and compassion of Miss Ann Marie. The gymnastic teacher is insulting, lacks care, and is a terrible mentor for the children. She told the class that her students want to make "puke" because of the of the students performance. We have not had good experience with the other instructors as well. We are self employeed and if any of my employees were to conduct business in this manner they would be let go. Sandra should be embarrassed of the instructors she has working for her.

Apparently there does not seem to be a limit to how many students they enroll in their ballet course for 3-5 year old girls. They keep allowing people in when there isn't room to accommodate the parents that want to watch their children practice. There is one small window in an already busy hallway and about 10-12 adults crowding it. If you do want to watch you have to get there early, claim your spot and literally not move the entire time. Moreover people do not have the sense to share the window. When I called the office to speak to Sandra, my calls were not returned. When I addressed the issue with the front office, I was told that the class has not reached its limit. There should be a class size limitation because with 20 students, exactly how much is my child absorbing from her teacher who is being pulled in 19 other directions. If I were not moving in two months, I would most definitely take my child to a different school. Warning to other folks, the classes offered for 3-5 year old ballet are severely overcrowded. Spare yourself the headache and go elsewhere.

Literally only because they never do anything about people parking in the handicapped spots that shouldnt be there. Theyve been told about this issue multiple times and still dont do anything.

I danced at Sandra's School of Dance for 15 years. The staff and teachers are supportive and caring about the students while providing a technical dance education. The competition team at Sandra's provided me with friendships and experiences that helped shape me not only as a dancer but as a person. Sandra's School of Dance is a great studio for dancers of all ages and levels.

My daughter has been taking classes at Sandras for 5 years and ABSOLUTELY loves it. The staff is so caring, professional, and are true role models. They take the time to know each child indovidually which sets them apart from other studios. I'd highly recommend this studio for students of all ages.
