My daughter cannot wait to join her jazz and ballet classes. In addition to the very talented and heartwarming instructors the Academy of Dance and Music offers to the child the opportunity of socializing, becoming part of a group and developing unique motor and coordination skills.

My daughter has been to many guitar instructors/teachers. None offered vocal with guitar until we tried out Jim. He has helped our daughter blossom and has challenged her like no other. After 2 months she was challenged to do a solo in the most recent recital. Which had us flabbergasted. But she did very well. We are so proud of her. Lessons are also close to home on the ABQ Westside, which is even better. You cant go wrong here. Try it out! Thank You Academy of Dance and Music!

My daughter has been studying with Leah for almost 9 years. She is in Jazz dance and Ballet and Pointe classes and loves them all. We like that the class sizes are smaller and they can get individual attention. The recitals are always a joy to watch! We highly recommend this school.

My daughter has taken ballet lessons from Leah since September. Leah is patient, knowledgeable, professional, and, of course, fun! Leah has an amazing student teacher Annabelle to support the class and keep students focused. The class size is small, which allows time for students to get personalized and individual guidance. My daughter looks forward to her lesson every week and has learned the fundamentals of ballet well. She is very excited to continue lessons again this September! The end of year performance is so fun and enjoyable for both the dancers and the audience! I highly recommend Academy of Dance and Music if you want a wonderful and fulfilling dance experience!

Skuya's interest in ballet came from watching the movie LEAP during Christmas break. She watched the movie over and over. She has the script practically memorized lol. I did what any mother would do for their daughter. After researching and reading reviews, she was enrolled at the Academy School of Dance and music on the westside Albuquerque in January 2019. Fast forward to 4 months later . Skuya is on the stage, demonstrating what she has learned since January. Skuya tells me she had a lot of fun and wants to be on stage again. We are humbled,grateful and thankful to the dance instructors .

My little girl recently joined Leah's ballet class. Charlotte has enjoyed the warmth and friendliness of her teachers and has improved dramatically! I can see the skills she is learning in her movements and posture. Leah is a wonderful example to the girls and is patient while still getting the girls to meet the standard.
