I love this studio. Learnt so many dances. They have progress sheets where they measure everything you have learnt and where you need more work. Multiple teachers with various strengths and expertise help you learn steps in much easier way.

I've been an ongoing customer of the studio since the beginning of 2014 and have enjoyed the experience of learning to dance. The instructors are always professional and very informative in helping to improve my dancing, whether it be rumba, tango, or my cuban motion. If you're looking for ballroom dance lessons in the area, I highly recommend this studio. Both Chelsea and Natalie are exceptional dance instructors.

Hi, My name is Halina, two years ago I couldn't tell you the difference between salsa and bachata and couldn't keep int time to the beat of "quick-quick-slow", so I was terrified of starting out at FADS. At 55, how was I supposed to learn how to dance? Wasn't I too late? I immediately felt welcomed and became excited! With the help of the team of instructors at Morristown, carefully crafted personalized training, group classes and socials, I gained the confidence to be balanced and graceful enough to compete with the FADS team. That's right, compete at glamorous events. Dancing brings me to life: I feel classy, confident and beautiful out there. The rhythm comes naturally to me now. My daughters will tell you, if I could do it, anyone can. There is something for everyone at Fred Astaire: from private lessons to dance socials! I really enjoyed my time with Fred Astaire and learned a lot. However, I found their rules to be a little too restrictive and their business model too inflexible. My instructor was great, friendly, and fun but I felt we didn't really maximize or fully utilize the time of the 40 minutes lessons as best as we could. There was a lot of small talk and repetition in going over what I already knew and felt comfortable with -- going back to basics if you will. I felt this was somewhat unnecessary as I was taking weekly lessons. However, they were very patient with learning new, more difficult moves. I felt that they were overly strict in how one attends group lessons vs socials and when I tried to go back with my wife after being a customer for quite some time, they essentially told me that we'd be required to work with separate instructors (more $$$ for them) and therefore they were not interested in us having us come in. This is a really great place with great people. I just think they need to relax their rules a little bit and be a little more welcoming of different scenarios. I understand that they are running a business (franchise) and that they have to set policies that would (hopefully) apply to all. But I also don't think my requests were unreasonable for someone who took lessons very regularly, always showed up with a smile and cheerful attitude, participated in many of their paid events and paid without any issues. I tried to go back and they essentially turned me away. While being part of this group is not cheap, it is fun and worthwhile despite its inflexibility.

I highly recommend the Fred Astaire Morristown studio. As a complete novice the instructors have helped me build confidence on the dance floor. Natalie is not only an excellent instructor but also one of the most sincerest people I have ever met. Her enthusiasm and talent has provided me a solid dancing foundation to build upon. It's a fun atmosphere and everyone is friendly.

From dancing like Elaine to competing in less that a year! Now I'm starting my third year of lessons and still in love with my FADS family in Morristown. As with anything, you get out of it what you put into it. But they sure make it fun to go to the studio (and sweat!!!), easy to learn...and possible to grow as a dancer. Great environment, and low pressure. I like how they work with you to make schedules that fit your lifestyle and timing. My wife and I have no dancing skill whatsoever, but over the course of a few weeks we learned a lot. These classes gave us the comfort we wanted for our first dance together during our wedding reception.
