Because I can't express my concerns to the studio because I'm shut out I am going to say Yes my son loved it there, there dances are amazing, and they put on a good show, but a small selection of Children there are chosen to be perfected, fed, favored and used in shows for acting parts... always the same kids which can hurt other students feelings it makes other kids feel like they are not good enough because the gifted look perfect like professional almost or why can't I be as important as those gifted girls. My son was one of those kids except not the owners student, and I don't consider him the best he still needs slot a work and he doesn't always look perfect. Only the best students get the owner when there older. The best fed (gifted) students who are younger get the owner. My family works for the studio and they always shut me out, there first priority is the fed students they disregarded my feelings. Children are not born gifted in the arts they are trained vigorously from a very young age. It's all about training, the more classes you take the more training you get the better you become (gifted). If you would like to know how to gift your child starting between the ages of 1-7 years old is for best results but older kids as well can also become professional dancers if constantly worked with. Kids should practice walking through there dance at home and be corrected meaning fixing there feet fixing there arms, posture, making corrections at home and at the studio, make sure to assure them not to worry about the best to focus on there own achievements. If there teased find a way keep going do online dance classes, work at home, if you love and are passionate keep dancing. I've done research and also seen how this works for I was at this studio for along time. I told the owner before I left that I need to leave her studio because of an emergency, and family crisis and she got all bent out of shape and yelled at me no compassion, my family was not supportive. It's doesn't matter anymore it just hurt my feelings and my son got hurt. My son is now working with a famous choreographer from California who makes him smile, encourages, and my son loves him. His choreographer is a gift from above and my son now is able to compete next year, but it's still hard work. My son also after being pushed away by other studios finally found a new dance studio I'm hoping someday my son can get his wish to be a professional tap dancer, dance teacher and go to Broadway.
