As I sit here reading Tracey Landon’s review I tend to question the review for a magnitude of reasons. I have been a member of this since the opening day I have seen a lot of changes from outgrowing the first studio to the current new studio the dance school is located. The studio itself has well over 100 students not 50ish and the classes are all filled to max size. 50+ parents and students move through the doors on Tuesdays alone I know I’m stuck at the facility most of the night... I’ve watched hundreds of students walk in the doors and move throughout the studio. I have two daughter who currently dance with the studio and have grown from having two left feet to winning numerous performance awards ranging from high golds to platinum along with winning complete competitions. These girls have been with Alicia’s from it’s start along with many other students and parents who attend this facility, the owner is highly involved in the local community and public and always giving back to the girls and boys at the facility. The class structure as referred to in the previous review does not coincide with the review based on the classes. You would not be at the studio 4 nights in a row for classes based on her class structure that’s been the same since I first started at the original studio. My oldest daughter who is numerous classes and the competition team she is there MAX 3 nights depending on classes and times maybe an extra night if cancelled due to weather. The competitive dance team at this facility is an invite only as in you are held to a higher standard then every other performer at the location. The classes are friendly and fun but well structured along with a great learning environment. I can assure you if a student was being treated unfairly and it was brought to the facilities owner it would be handled accordingly and not allowed to continue, it would also be address with the student’s parents of parties involved. I would encourage that you try this studio for yourself and not let someone who I personally don’t recall ever seeing at the studio impair your judgement. They hold 2 recitals throughout the year so you can see your little ones progress, the prices are fair and size of studio is accommodating. The owner has recently renovated the waiting area to make it more comfortable and she has plans on updating both dance studios as well. IF your looking for more accurate reviews check out the Facebook page and you will see numerous reviews as well.

I danced at this studio for 9 years and it has been my second home. It is a great environment :)

My daughter attended this dance for a year after not liking it for the year i had her give it a second chance since it was only a short drive from our home but after that year she chose to go back to her old studio before we moved she didnt like this studio so much she would much rather sit in the car to go to a studio an hour away 4 nights a week over this place when first starting classes you quickly get into fun and games witch is great for 5 year old or the first class or two but it stays all fun and games through the whole year the amount of talented kids is amazing but what is tought does not bring out their talent they have 15 year olds who are very talented performing at a level that a 5 year old could do the one main teacher is the owner of the studio the favoritism in that stufio is unreal at any studio i have ever looked at you have to try out for the competition team and their are some classes and activitys that only the competition kids would be aloud to participate in at this studio their are classes where the owner picks studios and only those students are aloud in that class the competition team has less strict ways of joining but if she does not want you on that team she will make sure you know that and you will feel quilty for being on the team witch also goes along with the way she lets her students represent her most of the students at the studio are nice and welcominh but their is at least 30% of the students out of this small maybe 50 student studio that will act horrible my daughter had a intrest in a boy who had a intrest in her back as soon as a student found out that her ex boyfriend had a intrest in my daughter she made life a living her for her over social media school and in the studio weather it be saying how horrible she was or accidentally dropping somthing on her while she was stretching this all happened in front of adults when i told the teacher about this nothing got better if anything it got worse when i talk about the studio with any other studio owner or teacher they all talk about how they have herd about the favortism and the horrible way that things are ran at that studio i high do not recommend enrolling any of your children at this studio no matter what you do it can turn a 12 year old girl who has loved dance her whole life been competing since she was 6 and winning to a 14 year old girl who crys about going to dance evrytime she would have to go to that studio

This will be my daughters fourth year and we love it at Alicia’s. My daughter is not part of any click and we are still welcomed and treated the same as the other students/ families. As far as Tracey Landon’s review it seems as though your daughter was missing her old friends and the comfort of a known studio and wasn’t really able to give somewhere new a chance. Publishing a review of teen girl drama that has nothing to with a dance studio is a tad ridiculous. This is someone’s business. My personal experience at this studio makes me question the validity of yours as this dance studio is not run the way you say it is. After, watching the amazing students at their last recital I can only disagree with your review as the talent was abundant. There are always 3 sides to every story, yours, theirs, and the actual truth. Alicia’s is a big part of the Loudon community and has been for years. It is unfair to warn others to not attend a place because your one child didn’t have a good experience in your opinion. The 100’s of other students who have had a wonderful experience welcome everyone! I will always recommend Alicia’s!
