If you want your card fraudulently charged AFTER you already paid the fee months before, sign your child up for dance here. Their point of sale machine was down the night I bought tickets and paid my costume fees. So I wrote down my card number and gave it to the older lady that was working (she helps out when it is busy) She promised me that she would destroy my card information as soon as she was done with it. Fast forward three months, my child was an inpatient at Children's Hospital and I went to make a purchase at the gift shop for some balloons and toys for him, and used that card I sometimes use, and it was denied... I was shocked because that is the card that my child support gets deposited on to every month and my ex had just deposited 500 literally that morning. Well I go online to see that good ole Studio One Dance debited my card for 324 and after paying my sons school tuition that day, their fraudulent charge made my account go negative AND my purchase declined. I am so disgusted with the fact they kept my card information months after they said they were going to destroy it, and not only that, they didn't even have a signature on the first purchase I made on it, so they had no legal right to charge that card. I have sent them proof of my payment twice now and now they are asking for it in email form, so I am going to have to do that now too. After they sent me a threatening email stating they will take me to small claims court to get their money back. My fiancée is a lawyer and is ready to take them to court on a whole plethora of charges. Not only is my credit card company pressing charges against them if they don't refund my money, I also filed a police report against them too, and keeping that handy when my fiancé formally brings charges against them. As far as the dance studio itself, I was a dancer for 20 years. Also a professional dancer myself, these billing practices are disgusting. My parents paid 500 a month every month for years and never once had a billing issue and never once had their card fraudulently used. My son is sad he doesn't get to go back to class with his "girls" but I won't let him go to a studio that uses his mothers card illegally. We are now at a great dance studio in Champlin and we are all much happier and he is getting a much better "dance" education there as well.

I will start from the beginning and I should have seen the HUGE RED flags when my daughter first started. Her 1st year they did not even have an instructor for her class. The instructor quit and the entire class was run by a high school student. Her only training was what she had learned from the studio..That was reg flag #1.. My daughter wanted to dance with her friends so we stayed...She soon became part of the competition team.. Big surprise..(everyone makes it who tries out.) 1st year on the team and the costumes looked as they were made from rags. Falling apart almost immediately.. We complained to Cynthia and got very little response. I took them to another studio owner whom is a friend of mine and she could not believe how poorly made those costumes were and urged me to ask for money back. We (all us moms) did and we each received a $30.00 credit not hardly anything compared to what we paid. which was basically a slap in the face. RED FLAG#2...The next year the costumes did look a lot better, but that also came at a price... Cynthia the director was out of town with the studio in Wisconsin Dells and there was a huge ordeal that happened with several parents and Cynthia while all the adults were intoxicated... RED FLAG #3...I approached Cynthia about some concerns I had about my daughter and a few other girls and how my daughter was being treated in class. I was assured by Cynthia that she would talk to the other girls and take care of it.. That never happened, my daughter came home crying that same night because of the way she was treated. She was then made to do volunteer work at the studio because she missed a few classes, (due to how she was being treated) When I asked Cynthia if all the other girls would be doing the same I was told yes... (That never happened.) however many nights her own son who was in classes would sit at the front desk doing homework and be allowed to miss class with out any repercussions from Cynthia (his mother and director.) My last and final straw we pulled our daughter out of the studio. 6 months went by with no words from them... I then all of a sudden get an email that I owe them close to $700.00... They never once sent me a bill or anything this had happened several times over the years. Her bookkeeper is as unorganized as she is.. It was originally like $400 but they so nicely tacked on a $35.00 late fee for 6 or more motnhs.. I figured it was a mistake as that has happened MANY MANY times over they years..BUT NO she actually took me to small claims court...and then added on more charges.. I have now paid off her over $1000.00 for the worst dance experience ever.. During the entire process I should have left sooner.. Cynthia will cater to certain students that she favors and others will be treated mediocre. As a business the communication is HORRIBLE and has lack of strong leadership. However they did have several fine instructors but they have all left as well. I would urge you to find a studio that is organized and run by a professional.

I've been dancing here since I was 3 and I've loved every second of it I will keep dancing until I graduate and I love all the people there and I wish I could stay with them forever!

It's fine until you get to the recitals and then they try to gouge you. Also the floors outside the dance rooms are filthy. Vacuum you bums.

I danced here for 12 years and the studio still remains a home for me. This studio cares about your success, they care about who you are and where you come from and Cynthia the owner of the studio is one of the most caring and loving people I have came across. Great staff, wonderful teaching and teachers and the memories and friendships you make will last a lifetime!
