Strategic Dance Centre is a great studio! I’ve never felt so comfortable and loved from all the kids and teachers. They’re very lenient if you go to another studio to train which is what I do due to scheduling and being at a certain place at a certain time. Also there is a variety of classes to choose from which are really fun and leave you walking out of the studio knowing you learned something new. This is the first studio I’ve been to that has no negativity, no drama, and has all positive vibes. The teachers are great, makes you work hard, and pushes you, but also has a strict sense to them which is what all children need to become a better dancer or athlete in any sport if taken seriously. I take dance very seriously and for me I need a little bit of a strict technical teacher to push me to become better. But having fun in class is very important and doing your best is too. This studio pushes me for better while also having fun. Many students at this studio have the best time and work very hard to accomplish what they need to. Everyone works at a different pace and a different level and the teachers always keep pushing the kids to do better each time they step foot into the studio. I recommend Strategic Dance Centre where you can learn the arts with no boundaries.

This is absolutely the worst dance experience I’ve ever had for my daughter! She was on the dance team and I chose to pull her out and not waste another dollar at this school. The dance instructor lorrie is known for her ill personality when it comes to her behavior with the parents and was even fired from the last dance school she worked at. Poor choice on my part for giving this school a try. I also had her in Acro with her not learning anything, an absolute waste of time and money. If you think that you’re getting 5 star training at this school you’re delirious. Moving forward and never looking back! ***Melissa M. Talking about over dramatic? Did you honestly see how long and dragged out your message was? No way am I taking the time out to read that! You have no idea the bs drama that happened dealing with my family and obviously other parents for you to add your “no one asked you” comment. And yes dance can be pricey to some but it better be followed with results and quality outfits! You know it’s sad when the pregnant mom of one of the dancers volunteers to make her daughters team outfits due to the schools hired seamstress making cheap tacky and skimpy outfits!

I was lucky enough to be part of the team to help open up this studio. I was a former soloist who trained under the Artistic Director here: Miss Lori Marshburn. You would not believe the excitement in my voice the day that she asked me to join her team to get this place going. After almost two years, it's easy for me to say that I am beyond thankful to work for such an incredible company who have empowering leaders behind it. Miss Lori hands down is the crowd favorite (she was always mine too!). You can tell how great she is because her classes are always the first to book up. You would not believe the amount of talent that walks out of her classroom doors with her training. Her dancers seriously flourish throughout each season: with their confidence AND technique. I have so many great things to say about the faculty here. It's crazy because I personally trained under a handful of them, and it's so special being able to work alongside them. There's so much positivity, support, and love in this atmosphere. Each instructor has their own unique methods of teaching, but all will be assuring that foundational techniques are intact. The staff here is so diverse in their cultures, styles of dance, and performing arts backgrounds which makes it easy for any child to find a home in one of our classrooms. We are inclusive to all dancers, and that's what makes my job so easy to love!

Strategic is an excellent dance studio. My grandchildren take classes there and being a former dance mom myself I know what a good dance education looks like. The teachers are exceptional, Ms. Lori is a fantastic artistic director, and the facility is beautiful. I love being able to watch my grandkids in their classes on the large screen TV's in the lobby. If you're looking for a dance studio that puts technique first, Strategic is it!

So...as a customer how much longer are you going to keep up with the back and forth from different accounts just to keep this studios score low? What are you accomplishing from this? We are all adults. You didn’t have such a pleasant time at this studio, we all understand from what you had written on the first review of your actual name. Getting friends involved is not helping, especially when they have never been to the studio. And if I recall there is always two sides to every story.

Reading some of the reviews who left this studio a 1 star is not embarrassing for the studio, nor staff but to themselves. Here is why - Many parents are very defensive when it comes to their children which is completely normal. However once you leave a one star extremely negative review, because of a personal experience yourself had then make up fake accounts & have other people leave a negative review is immature. At the end of the day ALL dance studios are a BUSINESS. Meaning they have strict rules & policies, That being said before you enroll your child clearly they have the responsible parent sign papers explaining that in the first place. Tuition is due when it’s due. There’s late fees, costume prices are due when it’s due. Motivation from the dancer is to be expected in any dance performance especially competition. There’s many other expenses such as very expensive outfits etc. the list goes on. All explained before enrollment. DANCE IS EXPENSIVE NO MATTER WHERE YOU GO. Now as for the students, at the end of the day a director or instructor who knows what their doing professionally will choose THE BEST. Those are the kids who put so much effort, sweat & TIME into what they truly are so passionate about. Not because their parents want them to, because they do. That’s the reality of a dancer who is chosen. Also in all respect I have another thing I must get out - If a teacher seems tough on the student, there’s a reason, & in my experience the reason is because the teacher see’s that potential. It’s not being rude.. it’s the reality & hard work of a professional dancer. Meaning that student being the hardest working, who’s passion is first dance, & most TECHNICAL experienced who can handle the pressure will be the one to succeed . That is the truth. Your child is the student. It’s never a good idea in my opinion to be so negative, immature & continually switching studios. That is not healthy or a good thing to do because that’s in my opinion not good teaching your child when you continue to switch his or hers environment. As parents we all want our child to be the “star” we all assume our child is capable of being the #1 first choice, however being that star dancer means never missing classes, always on point, constant practice, and a lot discipline from the teacher. That’s life. Too many parents feel the need to act as teacher. There’s a line that draws to allow the coach to train them so they can learn especially if your kid (not you) wants to be a professional dancer. It takes that passion & discipline in them if that’s the road the student is going for. I’ve seen so many parents have children who miss very crucial practices, or even children who don’t have that type of passion for dance then blame the teacher for it which is sad. What’s worst is the example your showing for your child. We are adults. If there are money issues however that maybe different but a personal problem with front desk, computer systems or mistakes shouldn’t be taken out on the very well experienced dance instructors nor the studio itself. This studio is beautiful, well kept, has many equipment that other “5 star studios” don’t have. Teachers are professional and highly trained. If you have a personal problem with a teacher be an adult & speak in person not online to share & have people that haven’t been here a negative vibe because of your issue that can honestly be solved. So set a mature example for your kid. Miss Lori deep down is such a talented hard working instructor. Her teaching takes on the aspect of HARD WORK & DISCIPLINE. She is REAL Not fake. Her views & many years of experience is what makes her amazing. My daughter has been her student in the past we both absolutely adore her, & let me be the 1st to say Miss LORI was the 1st to prepare her competitively and was the 1st instructor to teach my daughter amazing technique. If it wasn’t for Miss Lori my daughter wouldn’t be where she is now.

I highly recommend this studio if you are looking for a place that believes in teaching proper technique from start! My child is growing to be a beautiful dancer. This year she started taking classes with Mr. derick (hope the spelling is right) and tells me she wants to take more classes with him next year specially Lyrical. She loves all the staff there and feels as if it is like a home to her. She is coming home wanting to show me what she learned that day and doesn’t want to stop dancing. Reading some of the bad reviews and I think they come more from a misunderstanding. First dance takes patience and dedication. These teachers put their heart and passion into teaching these kids. Second if you join a dance team that takes more time and money then just taking it recreational. The kids on the dance teams got to be ready to put the work and time into their routines for the team to be successful. We love ms.Lori. She loves kids. She might be loud and seem tough but if you see how the kids react to her you will see they love her. They get her and want to do well for her. They all think she is hilarious too. Just know that dance skills take time and lots and lots of practice. These dance teachers have the best interest of their students whether it is recreational, competition or a future career. They give a free trial class so I say go try a class and see for yourselves. This review is long because I believe in this place and the teachers.

I don’t wanna allow anyone else’s children to attend here, due to how they treated my children and my friends children!! I will not be letting my kids attend your dance center due to highly very rude teacher is a very bad attitudes!!! From the way they handle their payment to the well-being of the organization of this establishment needs to reevaluate the way do you want to handle business for the Future!! In our current day and age we do not expect for to be treated this way and to be allowed to address our children this way from the lack performance to the overpriced uniform not allowing our children perform due to incorrect payments handled all by their internal issues from the dance center!! Part of my overall evaluation for this place is not recommended and I highly recommend all parents to move to a different Dance Center for the future of their childhood days, I will not allow this establishment to treat our children this way and take our hard earned money to not even allow my children to perform from all of their hard work, hopes, and dreams from dance! Don’t let this place hustle your money as well smart Vegas parents!!! Will not recommend this to anyone who is seeking dance improvement skills towards their young ones! Hopefully you really do clean house! It’s quite embarrassing really!

Don't pay 225$ for a 10$ hot glued dance outfit. They will charge your card 5 times a month on autopay. And justify it with 3x 75$ payments for a 10$ uniform???? I told them I don't want my daughter there anymore, so they said I need to pay for the next month or she can't perform at the competition she has been practicing for AND PAID INFULL FULL. SHAME ON THIS DANCE STUDIO. You rather send me a chk with a partial refund then let my daughter perform. There are plenty other dance studios just minutes away on rainbow. I would highly recommend those over this.

We’ve been going to this place for the past few months and while I can partly accept the 5 min late start and 5 min early finish every single time, what just happened was the end of going to this school for me. I pre payed my monthly dues at the end of July because we were going on vacation and because they don’t pay any attention at anything that they do, they canceled my August membership without bothering to call me first and find out what’s going on. We came back at school in the last week of August only to find out that they canceled our membership for what they thought was non payment. I spoke to the rudest office manager I’ve ever met who wouldn’t even give me the time of day being too busy yelling fake hellos to people walking in. She realized that they made a mistake and instead of just fixing the problem, she charged me another registration fee, lied about charging two registration fees per year and over charged me $10 over their advertised online price. While confronted, she acted as if she had no idea about their website prices. They offered no apology and made no attempt to make this right. The one make up class we had credit for she said that well, it’s just too bad. Extremely disappointed, I will not recommend this school to anyone.

This studio has been amazing for my family! We have been to other dance studios and gymnastics facilities over the years and no one compares to Strategic Dance Center. We are always greeted when we walk in the door and treated like family. My kids would stay there all day if they could just because the teachers and staff are so kind and fun. My daughter has loved to dance since before she could walk and it took us a while to find a location that could work with her and push her without burning her out or making her feel discouraged. She has learned and grown so much as a dancer in the almost 2 years we have been here. We love it so much that my son started taking classes there and he can’t wait until he is old enough to take their Cub ninja class! A big reason I love this studio is because they work hard on proper progression and proper technique instead of pushing kids to pick up something quickly leading them to develop bad and unsafe habits that are hard to break. In my opinion it’s not about how quickly my kids learn something but about them learning and growing as a dancer with proper form and technique. This studio also works hard to celebrate small successes so kids build confidence in themselves. It’s been amazing for my daughter to learn to push herself and keep trying until she suceeds in whatever skill she is working on. She will come home and practice on her own without me ever having to tell her to practice. She loves her teachers so much she often makes videos of herself practicing at home to send them-it shows me how much she respects her teachers and loves them that she will say “Mom, I have to practice more so I can make Ms Lori proud” or “Mom, record this so I can show Ms Wendy that I remember what she told me”-so cute! Strategic also has an amazing Acro room that both of my kids love! They get to work on tumbling in a safe environment and have fun doing it. It’s a mini gymnastics room inside a dance studio-where else do you find that? Amazing!!! I no longer have to take my daughter to gymnastics to work on tumbling and then to dance separately. It’s been a huge money and time saver for me.
