ZENsational! After running around all day, I'm still enjoying the benefits of Paula Robins' Yoga class@DanceCenter today. It must have been that fancy foot rub she gave me during Shavasana! As an out of practice Yogi, the Beginner class provided perfect balance. Now I'm ready to take my practice outside for 'Aroma Yoga IN THE PARK' Mar.21. I also can't wait to take my 1st Ballroom class with Dance Center next!

What a gorgeous ballroom dance studio! It’s spacious with the main room and another for group classes or private lessons. Ann is very knowledgeable and a beautiful person. You can even get costumes and dance shoes there. Ballroom Center has all your dance wants and needs. Check it out!

What an absolutely fabulous experience my father and I have had taking dance lessons here for our father daughter dance for my upcoming wedding. Anne has been our instructor and she is THE BEST. She's choreographed our dance to not a very easy song and has made it absolutely beautiful. Exquisite! She's incredibly patient, put up with my father's very type A, rigid personality with ease and humor. What a fun experience making these memories with my father. I give Dance Center 10 stars!

I was about as graceful in dancing as a stick in the mud when I first started. But considering my work consists of being behind a computer all day, I needed some kind of activity in my life. Going to the gym was simply out of the question. (I always felt lost with all those machines anyways and felt like I was on display for some reason). When a coworker (a DC member) gave me a "first class free for a non member" card and told me to just give it a try I did. I almost chickened out at first though when I walked in thinking that I might have made a mistake and tried to find a reason to leave but after just a split second I was greeted at the door and it just kind of clicked and all fell into place. You can walk into DanceCenter and just simply love the fact that you are there. The atmosphere is light and fun. The instructors are outstanding and all the members are just simply amazing and welcoming. Being at the DC makes you wish you had found this desert gem a long time ago. The classes are phenomenal and are taught by true professionals who love what they do and love to teach it as well. I can always count on the DC to give my body a work out and put a smile on my face. I can now say that a stick in the mud I am no more! I may not be a pro but i deeeefenitly have ALOT more grace in the way I dance. :)

I have been coming with my wife for 6 months about 5x/week. Initially came to learn to dance for daughter's wedding and thought it might be a fun thing try the free group class that was included. Never thought I would last, as looking down I see two left feet. Teachers are very good and very patient with beginners. Nice place to meet new friends outside of my usual circles. Overall it has been a great experience. While no Fred Astaire, I have learned enough to feel comfortable social dancing. Recommend highly.

I have gone to the aroma yoga class for a couple years now and recommend it to everyone I know especially beginners or those who love yin (slow) yoga. Paula has very welcoming and gentle energy and will help to modify poses if you need it! She also generously gives a short foot or hand massage at the end of the session which is heavenly! Anne, the owner, is in almost all the yoga sessions as a participant and she is also extremely welcoming and warm. Highly recommend for yoga or dance classes!!! Great local, small business.

Many people have 3 main concerns when taking Dance lessons. 1). Do they expect you to "get it" right away? - No! They don't throw anyone in the deep-end of the pool and expect then to swim. The instructors make it easy w/step-by-step guidance and work with everyone to make sure they're comfortable. 2). Do they "push-you" to get private lessons? No! The private lessons are a way to get better faster but are not pushed on anyone. 3). Is it worth the $$? Absolutely! It is money VERY well spent. IMO, you will have Fun and get exercise all at the same time.

Phenomenal! It wasn’t long after my proposal that my fiancée asked me to learn a really technical dance for our wedding. Despite my hesitation, I committed with little confidence and no idea how I was going to pull off any type of desirable moves in time for the big day without years of practice. My foot coordination at the time was that of a seal, and far faster than I could have imagined Anne had carefully instructed my hobble into a fashionable grace.
