I had just started my 2 1/2 yr old daughter for dance here. The studio came highly recommended by many friends and my family even knows the owners so I was very excited. The class was a musical movement class meant for ages 2 1/2 to 3 1/2. My daughter started her class and loved it, loved her teacher and had a great time every week. We were only a month in so granted all the kids were still getting adjusted to being in the classroom. Well after talking to other moms I found that most of the girls in there were 3- 3 1/2. My daughter is extremely tall for her age, but didn't talk quite as well as the other girls and had a little bit harder of a time sitting still. Nothing out of the ordinary for a 2 1/2 year old, every child in there would get excited and get a little off task. She could still do what the other girls were doing but they were significantly older than her so yes her attention span was slightly behind. After the 4th class the teacher asked if she could start kicking my daughter out when she didn't listen, it's her classroom so it's her rules I get that. I grew up dancing in a very strict studio so I understand. But this is a toddler musical movement class and that's inappropriate to kick a 2 year old out because she's younger than the other girls and doesn't understand as well. She then turned to two other little girls telling them they were her best students, just because my daughter doesn't talk as well doesn't mean she doesn't understand you, her feelings were very hurt and then told me the teacher was mad and she was sad. I think the situation could have been handled different if she thought my daughter was too much of a a disruption, she is in her age range of the class but maybe if I was simply told hey maybe she's still a little young I would have been more than understanding and pulled her out and came back when she was 3 next year, not threatening to kick her out every week. I'm very sad and disappointed at what happened and now I'll be needing to find another studio that can take my daughter because she loved it so much. I would maybe suggest changing the age of your class if it's really not a musical movement class, it's a ballet class and more is expected of them, if that had been made clear I would have known not to bring my daughter yet.

Bunker Dance Center has been a great fit for BOTH my daughters. We moved to Las Vegas from Utah and Bunker Dance Center was recommended from our former studio owners.

Teachers there are amazing and super nice they are also great choreographers who put on amazing shows. I would like to acknowledge my hip hop dance teacher Miss Nadene. She is always helpful and is also fun.

Bunker Dance Center has been such a huge part of my children’s lives for the last 16 years, we really know how they operate. We have enjoyed many end of the year shows and exciting competitions for my advanced dancers. They are very family oriented with a wide range of classes that appeal to many. Every child gets a chance to shine from toddlers to adults. With the warm and friendly atmosphere and very important the professionalism of the teachers and staff members really make Bunker Dance Center a very enjoyable experience for new dancers, experienced dancers and even adult dancers wanting to try something new. We love them!

We didn't get a chance to try out this dance studio because they canceled the class we registered and paid for. I wish I hadn't told my daughter and gotten her excited for fairytale ballet! Hopefully this is helpful to other parents to know that even once you are registered and paid, they can cancel on you.

I just wanted to post that Michonne has always been so kind over the phone and really helpful! My daughter took Fairytale ballet at Bunker last semester and it was so cute and well organized! The instructor incorporated the Princess themes and songs SO STINKING CUTE in each class I just was freaking out and wanted to have my own fairytale ballet class. I loved seeing my daughter use the barre, do pretending with the teacher, and all the different things they did. Recently Miss Michonne let my daughter do a trial hip hop class. I thought that was so cute too! My daughter is a bit intimidated I think to commit to this class as she was the youngest there, but I am just praying next year my daughter will want to commit to Bunker again. I really recommend it here! Michonne was super upbeat and all the kids responded to her so well!

My daughters just started this fall at Bunker Dance Studio and I'm already so impressed with the studio. We have tried other dance studios around the Las Vegas Valley but none of the ones I have tried compare to Bunker. The dance instructors are so encouraging and helpful. My daughters come home from dance class with the biggest smiles on their faces. They can't wait to go back and dance again!

My kids have taken many classes at Bunker over the years from Musical Theater, hip hop, tap, jazz, ballet, to the amazing contemporary instructors and choreographers. The technique my daughters were taught at Bunker propelled them to the top levels at Las Vegas Academy. We are so grateful for the instruction and experiences we have had at Bunker Dance Center!!

I have 2 girls who started dancing competitively at Bunker Dance Center 3 years ago, and we have been nothing but happy. My girls had danced at 3 local studios prior to coming to Bunker, so we have experienced a variety of the studios available in Las Vegas...none compare to Bunker. Both my girls dance on the Performing Arts Companies at the studio, and their technique has improved leaps and bounds, as has their confidence. There is not another studio in town that offers more diversity than Bunker does...they train in Ballet, Hip Hop, Tap, Contemporary, Jazz, Bollywood and even some Ballroom Dancing and Musical Theater. Along with the diverse dance styles offered, Bunker also has the most amazing staff, master teachers and guest choreographers. Through Kathy Bunker's years in the business, she has access to some of the best in the industry, and her connections have enabled my girls to be taught and choreographed by these amazing artists. There is not another studio in town that can help form a more "well-rounded" dancer than Bunker Dance Center. We have been truly blessed to be part of the Bunker Dance Center family.

They run a really poor business and your child will not be treated fairly unless you know someone or have connections. It is all political. Would not recommend. Been there for 3 years so this is not just a pissed off rant. I know this place and many people that go there also. They say their decisions are final on what groups they are placed in and they dont change for anyone. I know a few people first place. What a waste of my money and embarrassment. If you are mormon caucasian I am sure you will do fine.
