The Academy of the Performing Arts is a wonderful state of the art studio for dance and music. My children have spent many wonderful years of dance here and will for many more to come. They have gained so much from their instruction from Miss Shoni, including professional dance technique, strength, love of the arts, unique dance opportunities and many many amazing friends who share the same love of dance and determination to shine. We are so fortunate to have a top notch dance and music studio here in the Flathead Valley. Come see what it's all about!!

We would highly recommend APA to anyone looking to find a dance studio in the Flathead Valley. The Academy of the Performing Arts is our daughter’s second home. This is her 6th year of dance and she’s taking 8 classes! The instructors are fantastic and have instilled in her a love of dance. Shoni is an amazing instructor and she has talented instructors working with her. She always feels safe, welcome, and loved by her dance family. The studio is professional and you are greeted with a smile. Thank you to the staff at the Academy of the Performing Arts for everything you have done and continue to do for our girl!!

Both my kids enjoy dancing here. The staff is amazing and for my daughter being deaf the teacher is amazing. The front desk receptionist is amazing at making sure all questions are answered and that you have all the information you need. Amazing place to dance.

My 3 granddaughter have been dancing at APA for the last 9 years and LOVE it. Shoni crates an environment of honesty, kindness, compassion and support. All dancers gain a respect for each other and their differences as well as a respect for the arts. This makes the APA a very special place for children to grow. It is so very rewarding to watch my granddaughters and the other kids at APA dance their hearts out each week. Two of my granddaughters have had opportunities to be teacher’s assistants, this provides them so many personal connections and life lessons. And each year their recital is a community event that displays the greatness of APA! Thank you APA for being such a HUGE part of my family’s life!

I have two daughters who both attended the Academy of the Performing Arts for many years. The owner, Shoni Jaeger, is highly qualified, professional, and very knowledgeable. Staff are also well trained in various forms of dance. Despite there being multiple studios in the city, both my daughters felt they received the best training at the academy and did not look further. As a Mom, I always appreciated the level of instruction, support, and overall quality. Thank you to the academy for the many years of quality dance instruction.

I danced here when I was younger and now I get to watch my daughter. I'm excited for her first performance. I've enjoyed getting to watch her first few classes on screens in waiting room. She is excited to have met new friends her age and that they are so welcoming. She loves the feeling of dancing at an Academy that is modern and professional.

APA is everything you want in a dance studio for your kids! The teachers are all incredible. The studio is absolutely beautiful. And the end of the year recitals are the best productions in the Valley by far! I love knowing that my daughters are in a safe and loving environment every time they dance.
