I am very proud to be a twirler of Dance Twirl Minnesota. I have been twirling at this studio for seven years. Baton is my favorite thing to do, and there is no better place to do it than DTMN. The instructors are very encouraging and friendly and they each want the best for every student. At DTMN you will meet so many amazing people. I'm so lucky to have made so many friends throughout my seven years. Each week, I look forward to seeing my teammates, coaches, and I always look forward to twirling my heart out! I'm so glad that I was introduced to this sport, because without it, I wouldn't be who I am. If you are every looking for a dance or baton studio, I highly recommend Dance Twirl Minnesota!

I was really excited to bring my 3 yr old daughter to her fist dance class at Dance Twirl but I was immediately dissappointed with this establishment. First, there is absolutely no parking in the lot which is so frustrating and then there is hardly a place to sit or even watch your little one while in class. We walked in not knowing what to expect, we were not greeted by any staff member. We were not introduced to her instructor either. There was no accountability for the kids after class which was a little scary. Not only did they not care who I was they didn't care who took her after class either. Very unprofessional. We will not return.

I have been coached by Jacinda Miller and a couple of her dedicated students since I was five years old. I am now 16 and still loving every second of it! I’ve made many life-long friendships through DTMN teams and I can’t even begin to explain the amount of love and effort Jacinda puts into her student’s success. 11 years well spent!

While our children were enrolled at this studio we experienced several large payments that we made to them failing to be applied to our account. We were in communication SEVERAL times with the owner Jacinda Miller to get the billing errors corrected, yet there was a constant failure to apply all of the payments to the bill (that we had made and were able to document with cancelled checks and documentation from paypal online payments). We repeatedly had to ask for updated billing and every time we got the bills back they were different with payments being constantly recoded as other types of payments. As our frustration with the situation (that continued over a period of six months) continued to grow, we again asked that our bill be updated to reflect a $200.00 payment made by check months prior and had cleared that was not reflected in the bill. Jacinda the owner responded by not communicating with us to respond to the issue, but instead turning our account over to her bookkeeper who sent us a letter falsely claiming to be a "Collection Agent" (being a collection agent requires an actual license from the Department of Commerce of Minnesota). The letter that Jacinda Miller had the false "Collection Agent" send us demanded that we pay our outstanding balance (that we had already paid and can document) or she would not allow our children to dance at the studio. I looked into the license issue with the Department of Commerce and found that this person that Jacinda was using was not licensed. An enforcement officer from the Department of Commerce got involved because this is an illegal activity. I notified Jacinda and her "Collection Agent" about these issues, my concerns and my desire to get the issue resolved and Jacinda responded this morning by stating that she would no longer pursue the collection (we owed NO money and can easily document that fact) and that she was kicking the children out of the studio. She took the issue out on 2 young girls - the students that she was supposed to be a role model for. I would never EVER enroll anyone into a toxic situation like this. Fiscal irresponsibility and the vindictive nature of the owner that we can document with repeated incorrect invoices, emails and telephone calls - far suppress any positives that are to be had by the level of instruction in baton to be obtained here I sadly write this review as my girls have loved twirling... I just wish that the owner cared for the children and appreciated her clients as much as the children of the clients believe that they should appreciate her.

STAY AWAY! This is a scam! They only converse with you long enough to take your money, which must be paid for in full, then notify you just hours before that all classes are cancelled, then avoid your phone calls. My only option at this point is to reach out on social media and hope others don’t make the same mistake I did

We love Dance-Twirl MN! We drive 45 min twice a week and it is worth every moment. You will be amazed at how fast the students increase their skills. The studio is wonderful, but the instructor Jacinda Miller is truly amazing. We have had teachers and sports coaches in the past who said all the right things, but you could tell they were not truly enjoying it.....you will not find that here. Mrs. Miller is always upbeat. Her enthusiasm is authentic and infectious. Thank you Jacinda!

My 10yr old daughter absolutely loves this place (Mom and Dad do as well). She has been twirling here for years and the staff have been so kind and helpful. The owner really takes pride in her students and it shows!

We are so grateful to Jacinda Miller and Dance-Twirl Minnesota. Our daughter is in her 3 year of twirling, and has absolutely loved it since she started! Jacinda has instilled confidence and assurance in our daughter and things that we could not have taught her . She gives a personal touch to each student, pushes them (in a good way) to further goals and respectfully responds to each parent with our questions. We could not have asked for a better life experience for our daughter. We will be eternally grateful that our paths crossed with Jacinda and that our daughter is in this amazing sport of twirling!

This is one of my first, if not my very first, Google review. I hesitated to post this as it is pretty negative, but I don't want anyone else to be as disappointed/frustrated as I have been. I just want to echo some of the comments of the most recent reviewer. While the parking lot does leave a lot to be desired, I do not fault Dance Twirl for this. I do have some other concerns though. The owner was very responsive to me when I was originally signing my daughter up for class, but email and voice mail responses have been spotty at best since then. And I have double checked my junk folder - nothing. There is very poor communication here. The lobby is a nightmare. Good luck trying to find a place to sit during your child’s class. And there is no way the teachers could possibly verify that students are going home with their parents after class as the owner mentions in her previous response. There is just too much pandemonium in the lobby between classes. This would also require (at a minimum) that the teacher be familiar with the parents. Two months in and our daughter’s teacher has yet to introduce herself to us. The owner mentions in her previous response that parents are invited to the second night of class. We never received such an invitation. Again, communication is lacking. Again, two months in and all the kids in my daughter’s class are wearing tutus, tights and ballet or tap shoes to class. Our daughter doesn’t have any of these things, nor have we received any information to purchase them. The owner also mentions in her previous response that students are fitted for shoes during their first class. As far as I’m aware this did not happen for our daughter. An email to the owner inquiring about this was never responded to. On the studio’s website it states, “You will receive tights, shoes and an apparel gift when you join our community.” and “All of our Dazzling Dolls are provided with a custom gift basket that your child will adore.” We have not seen either of these. Presumably they are one in the same? I’m sure we will never know. Due to all these issues we chose to find another studio. Definitely night and day when it comes to all the areas we were concerned about. Actual employees at the front desk available to help out parents/students with any questions/issues - what a concept!
