Me and my husband had a great experience at Fred Astaire!All the instructors and very skilled and the vibe is great here!Also, we had an outstanding experience with Yuli, that prepared us to our wedding with a wonderful tango choreography!We tried also the party and the group classes and we had a lot of fun! We will suggest to everyone this Studio for private and group classes!

I love the Fred Astaire Dance Studio! My experience with this company was through the competition "Dancing With The Survivors" that they cohost with The Pink Fund annually. I was assigned to Marjaun as my professional dance partner. From beginning to end, the entire process of working with Marjaun was wonderful. I was in a lot of pain from dealing with my treatment, but he inspired me so much that I pushed through. Our dance on the night of the show was FIRE, and I was proud of myself for learning something new. Every person that works here is so warm and friendly. From the owners, to each dancer, they get to know you and take an interest in your success. I loved the free weekly group lessons and seeing people met each other there after work for lessons. It just infuses energy into your day when you put those shoes on and grab your partner's hand. I would encourage anyone interested in adding fun to their life to head to Fred Astaire. They are excellent at what they do!

Great teachers and studio that attracts a good mix of people. Neither my husband or myself are necessarily ballroom dance types, but had lots of fun and quickly got to a point where we could go dancing or to a wedding and look like we knew what we were doing.

Not A nice place head A horrible experience 10 years ago. Was offered two free dance's was not interested. At the last second dance tried to get my credit card information. Was not interested. They made false allegations that I was harassing them after I wouldn't share my credit information. They appear to be friendly four your money. And one of the instructors weren't nice. I would not recommend this place and less it's under new management

I had a lot fun learning so many different styles of ballroom dancing. The instructors are very knowledgeable and kind. The instructors also encourage and challenge their students to do better, either in their frame to more complex and intricate dance steps. The learning environment is safe and warm.

My experience with FADS for the past 2 1/2 years has been a delight. When I took my first lesson there, it became my go to place for fun and socializing. My instructor makes dancing easy, is sensitive to my abilities and, most important, a happy time! The owners, staff and talented instructors provide a studio with and social club atmosphere. If you call the studio, you are greeted with "How can I make you smile?" And they do!

My first experience at the Free Astaire Dance Studio in Bloomfield Hills was a big surprise that my husband pulled off on our anniversary this year! Being wheelchair bound, I never knew or even heard of Wheelchair Ballroom Dancing. I love the instructors, their patience and their willingness to help you wherever you are having a hard time in the routines. My husband and I will definitely be going again! In fact, Today(8-27-16) we will be there and looking forward to learning whatever the instructors have in store for us! Very clean and comfortable atmosphere and very kind and professional dance instructors.

This Fred Astaire is a very professional ,warm and friendly place to learn to dance. No matter if you just want to learn social dance or all the way to competition. THey are also very involved in the community with classes for wheel chair and disabled individuals

Lada, the studio directer, is a fine dancer and very friendly and supportive. We've known her for several years. Her dance instructors are friendly, very good and supportive. They make learning to dance a pleasure.
