Finding a dance studio to help my daughter come out of her shell wasn't easy. Other places were either too big, too much money, too competitive...until we found Unique Steps. Her first year, she was taught, in a small setting, the true art of dance and she loved it. Fast forward to today... she is enrolled in 4 classes and because of the confidence she's gained from her dance instructors, she's now doing her first solo which she initiated on her own. Confidence, a positive self esteem, & humor radiate from Unique Steps and we're thankful we found Melissa and her hard working team <3

We have been part of the Unique Steps family for over six years. My daughter started as an entry level dancer and is now a member of the Senior Performance team. She has learned more than the proper dance technique and a wide range of dance styles, she has truly learned the joy of movement and love of dance. With a staff that is like family she has grown so much as a dancer and a person. Unique Steps offers dance therapy programs, performances in the community, summer camp, and a great schedule of group and individual classes at all levels, for all interests!

We have been to several dance studios over the years, but this is the only studio we have found that truly cares more about teaching the students how to dance correctly to avoid injuries than competing or winning awards. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The work they do with the special needs community is amazing! The lessons the dancers learn at this studio are more than just dance moves. They're something they will remember throughout their lives.

My daughter loves going to Unique Steps. Melissa is so genuine and patient with the children. My daughter absolutely loves her. My daughter loves her class. She dances with children her age and children a bit older and she loves that she has a variety of dances she gets to do in her class.

I have been to many dance studios in the past years and have gotten injured and have hated the way the teachers had taught me. Now that I am at unique steps I have made friends and have grown strength wise. The teachers are really nice and care about every student. I have only been here for 2 years but I have never wanted to dance more than ever. Melissa is really nice and cares for everyone. Melissa teaches very nicely and prepares you very well for the future. Unique steps is a great dance studio and pushes you to be the best student you can be.

My 3-year-old loves this class! I was concerned that she, as a child on the autism spectrum, would have difficulty keeping up with her peers. The instructors have created a schedule where she receives a lot of one-on-one attention, so she is making great progress. It is not a competitive class, but there is the right amount of structure for her to stay engaged. I'm delighted with this school!

This is my daughters first year doing dance. She started at the age of 2. They make the classes a mixture of fun but also teach them the steps and utilize the dance bar and more. She enjoys coming and even is allowed to show me what she is learning at home. Both teachers enjoy working with children and doing really well with the young children. The price is also very reasonable.
