I am a STUDENT and to see the disrespect that mother have received is disgusting I can’t even Handel they talked about my mother as soon as she left out of the building because she thought they had an elevator because you would think one would we needed the elevator because my farther was disabled and can’t walk and after my mother talked her she was basically was saying you should have asked or looked it up without is saying sorry but we don’t have one. When my mother left she told me to got hace a seat and went into the office I guess she didn’t think I heard her but she said my mother had a big attitude and who wouldn’t after not even getting a sorry and saying they don’t have one at the moment.Saturday I had dance practice 3-6 and I sat the whole three hours as my teacher wasn’t there and the other lady didn’t have the song. When my mom got there I told her that and also how the teacher told us to get up if we are in modern 3 and as we did no one remembered the song but I feel like if you are the teacher for the day you should have all of that prepared. As we sat back down she said she was going to text our teacher and told her, the other classes where dancing and we still didn’t get a response from the lady.Remind you I’m in modern 3 I told my mother we didn’t dance she asked this other lady and she said we did dance and so that lady asked the teacher and she said yes I did BALLET3 I said no I’m in MODERN 3 and the lady said they are the same thing, how are they the same thing if we had different songs and it’s a whole different style of dance she just tried to act like it was my fault and said well it’s my responsibility to hear my class I’m not blind nor deaf so if my class would have dances I definitely would have known by then.Please don’t go to this school they may seem like a good school now but as soon as they get money they don’t care about any of the children but about the money so please do leave your child with money hungry people thank you

My child will not be attending the CARROLL SCHOOL OF DANCE never ever again..... I would not recommend that dance school to anybody.. nobody can't explain to me why my child was not on stage for her performance and in the back with no adult supervision my daughter said nobody was watching her and somebody hit her in the nose... Please example to why my child have blood on her shirt...

My daughter has been going to csod since she was 1 1/2 years old. The teachers are awesome and work well with children. My daughter enjoys going to dance weekly. The recitals are very nice and allows the children to showcase what they’ve learned.

Pro's The staff is polite. The choreography is nice. Con's It is not very clean. It is not a very safe environment. The classes are overcrowded. The practices are closed and there's not always proper supervision of the children. There's a $150 per class discharge fee if you choose to discharge your child. There are mandatory meetings and rehersals not on practice days.

This is my daughter’s second year and she absolutely loves it...Especially her Tap class! Their Winter and Spring Recital are true productions, you will enjoy the entire show whether you’re there as a spectator or supporting a little one!

The Carroll School of Dance is an excellent environment for your child to learn all different styles of dance. The teachers are friendly, professional, and polite. The online payment portal makes keeping track of classes and payments easy.

My stepdaughter has been attending this school for 4 years with no problems until recently. She called crying hysterically saying the owner made a comment about her hair and she didn't want to take any photos. I approached the owner and she was extremely rude. I can acknowledge that it was a very busy time for her and in hindsight I should've waited to approach her at a later time to ensure my point was heard. I'm a Director of an agency and I also own several businesses myself so I understand how frustrating it can be when directions aren't followed, however, its imperative at all times to maintain professionalism especially when working with kids because they are so impressionable. My stepdaughter had just come from travelling and due to time constraints her mom had to make adjustments to her hair the best she could. Any comments about her hair should have bee made to her mom directly. Theres NO reason a child should be made to feel uncomfortable. Just like school teachers, dance teachers, coaches etc are looked at as idols to children and your behavior whether verbal or physical towards them matters! Even after speaking with my step daughter about the situation I had no intent to consider her removal from the program as I was optimistic that the conversation with the owner would go well, however, that decision has changed. I gave the business 3 stars instead of 1 star because of one of the dance moms that has been super helpful over the 4 years I have interacted with her. I dont know her name but her daughters name is Riley. She is always super helpful and easy to approach. She was also able to shed some light on the incident that occurred which was super helpful.

The Prancing with Passion 5th Dance Concert was s HIT!! HATS OFF TO THE INSTRUCTORS!! From the Time I entered the dance concert to the end THE STAFF WAS "VERY PROFESSIONAL AND POLITE!!" 5 STARS TO THE CARROLL DANCE SCHOOL!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! GOD BLESS!

My daughter was going there for camp in summer 2016 and for classes during fall and spring year of 2016/17. It was a great experience and the teachers were great! It's for beginners and advance students. I wish it was something like this when I was little. I only gave it 4 stars because my boyfriend ordered a winter dance DVD (when our daughter performed) back in December 2016 and we never received it. I wrote them and they said it will be available in Feb. 17'. Time went on then and still no DVD. Tried to contact them but was no response. Even left a voice message. Oh well.

CSOD offers a variety of dance instructions for many age groups. The Staff are very professional and caring. My granddaughters and niece love this dance school. And I’m so proud of their technical dance skills.

My daughter has been attend the the Carroll school of dance for 2years and she loves it. She has learn so much and the teachers does just a wonderful job with all of the little ladies. Macee Whitehead is the owner and director of the school does a excellent job with the concert that school put on every year if anyone looking for a dance school don't not look any further.

I am super pleased with my daughters attendance at the Carroll School of Dance. My daughter is always included, she has made a great amount of friends, the dance instructors are friendly and communicate with parents effectively and clearly. There's even a mobile app! This has become a wonderful community to be a part of.

Unfortunately, my daughter will not be returning to CSOD. Communicating with the director unfortunately did not work out. My daughter was not learning as I believe she should have. Even when I asked the teacher Ms. Jasmine, she told me because the class has so many students, she is unable to give more attention to the kids who need the extra help. When I addressed issues in communication, the director made it seem as though I was the problem. They were not professional, therefore we removed our daughter & enrolled her elsewhere. And needless to say no parking makes it more complicated for parents.
