If I could give ZERO stars, I would. I booked this place a few years ago for my wedding reception. Because of my husband's occupation, we never know when plans will change; so I chose this place because there were SUPPOSED to be no non refundable fees. The owner, Richard, started out extremely friendly and willing to work with what I needed. Once I paid my security deposit and made a down payment, his attitude and willingness to accommodate our needs soon changed. In the contract it stated that if I cancelled in 14 days or less of the event, the company could keep a certain amount of the deposits. I gave several formal notices at LEAST 40 days before my event, including voicemails and certified letters. The owner denied phone calls; promised to call back and didn't and didn't reply to voice mails. When I finally got in touch with him, he offered to let me reschedule my event, but denied my refund. Rescheduling was out of the question because my husbands job was moving our family again. He then offered to give me half of my payment back, but changed his mind. Plus, I needed the full payment back. He has yet to return a penny, even though I gave more than enough notice. I feel this man was very sneaky and I'm disappointed that he operates his business in this manner. I had no event and he kept all of my money. I would never recommend anyone do any kind of business with Richard. I am so disappointed with his business ethics...
