Friendly staff & dancers. Small intimate setting for dancing (easy to miss when driving in Georgia Ave, it looks just like a house). This is not a studio that I would attend (as I am competitive in International Standard & they do not instruct that or focus on competitive students) but I would definitely recommend it for social dancing & beginner group lessons for the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

My husband and I have been attending about one year after first trying a Groupon from a competing dance studio. I definitely recommend this studio over any competitor. The instructors are very committed to quality, pay attention to detail, and correct our technique; I did not have this same experience with the competitor. Plus they are very nice and fun people! The cost for lessons is a better value for the money than a competitor, and the lessons and dance parties are longer. Silver Spring studio is smaller and intimate; monthly theme parties are hosted at the Rockville studio combining all 3 studio students where a lot more people attend. I recommend new dancers try this studio for at least 6 months to get a feel for the dances; you will be surprised how quickly you improve after about ten lessons, learn new patterns, and have fun!...and hopefully keep attending!
