Absolutely love this dance studio excellent environment. All of the staff members are friendly they make your child feel comfortable. My daughter has been dancing at this studio for almost 3 yrs now we're so glad we found this place she loves it.

I have had 3 children dance with MMDC and we have become a part of something much bigger than us! I love the tight-knit, family feel of the studio, and the Directors are Awesome!!! The teachers are all very talented, and most importantly they love the children, so they work with them to bring out the shining stars!!! No matter the shape, size, or color, all are welcome and that is why Making Moves has set a standard for all others to follow!!!

MMDC is a great dance studio! My daughter started with MMDC when she was 3 years old and she is now 7. She has grown into this talented dancing machine and the credit goes towards the dance instructors at MMDC. This year is my daughters first year on the competitive Pride Team and it has been nothing but a great experience! Every Competition we have left with Platinums, High Golds, 1st and 2nd places. Bringing her to MMDC was the best decision I made for my daughter! Coming into the studio you are always greated with friendly smiles! It is definitely a family oriented atmosphere! You will not be disappointed! Ms. Kellie and Ms. Amber are the absolute BEST there is!

A great dance studio that is very diverse and caters to the entire community on a recreational and competitive level. My daughter has been dancing here since the age of 4 and she is 12 years old now. The studio has also grown to be very competitive and participates and shines in dance competitions both local and out of state. The teaching staff are a group of talented individuals and the two owners are the warmest pair of ladies you will ever meet. As a non-profit organization, the studio awards scholarships each year to those who carry dance in their heart but cannot afford to pay for dance lessons. They definitely strive to provide excellent technical training while developing their dancers’ confidence. Check them out!

Making Move Dance Collective is THE BEST studio in the Washington Metropolitan area! My daughter started here in 2016 and the transformation from then to now is truly astounding. Enrolling her in classes at this studio is one of the best decisions I could have ever made. Miss Kellie and Miss Amber saw her potential and ran with it! I could not be more pleased with her development and growth under the teachings at MMDC!

My son and daughter love MMDC! It is family oriented and a very comfortable environment. I appreciate the dual emphasis on choreography and technique. There is open communcation with the instructors and directors. All the staff are passionate about dance, teaching, and develping children.

This is the only dance school my daughter has ever attended in her 3 years of dancing because once she started we could feel the love from the teachers for their students and how much of a family atmosphere it was. I absolutely love this school and the staff, they are so talented and truly amazing kind souls. My daughter will be in this school until she graduates.

Best Dance Studio in the DMV. My niece has been dancing with them for 4yrs and my daughter started this month. Staff is amazing and they all treat you like family. My daughter is only 2 and she absolutely loves Miss Shannan. My niece is part of their competition team "PRIDE" and it is amazing. All their routines are so much fun to watch.

I am so glad I made the decision to get my daughter involved in dancing. I stumbled across Making Moves Dance Collective 3 years ago and my daughter has been a part of the family every since. When I use the term “family”, it’s not loosely. At Making Moves Dance Collective they make you feel like you’re a part of an extended family. My daughter has gained valuable friendships and big sisters while being exposed to professional dance training and skills that are truly invaluable! I thank Making Moves Dance Collective for allowing us to be part of something great! And now my toddler son is attending dance classes at the studio!

MMDC is an excellent recreational/competitive studio for babies to adults. My daughter has been dancing since she was around 3/4 yrs old she will be 12 later this year. The studio has grown from just space inside a church to 3 well equipped studios. They have a great team of teachers/staff & student assistants that will enhance your child's LOVE FOR DANCE!!!! I cannot say enough great things about MMDC if you are in search of a new dance home please stop by and say Hello...you will not regret it!!!!! TEAM MMDC

I currently have two daughters attending MMDC and they love the classes, teachers and making new friends. The fees and reasonably priced,t environment is friendly and communication is readily available. In the Fall, my third daughter will also be attending.

The environment here is awsome! All the kids are very excited about their classes. Are eager to learn new dance moves and love all of their teachers. They are all so very sweet. I don't approve of some of the dance moves for certain ages as they can get to provocative and sexual (I've heard this from a few parents as well as the audiences). But overall the dances my kids have been in have been age appropriate.
