This is definitely a studio that I would recommend to others. It is a welcoming environment, especially for a beginner adult student, like myself and I look forward to taking Fouettes in February, the new workshop!

I’m so glad that my daughter found this studio. Last year was a difficult year for our family, my daughter was dancing at another studio. After her lessons, almost every time she would come home crying. In the fall she found Baltimore School of Dance and now she is more confident and found a group of people that not only teach her how to dance but also give her moral support when she needs it. I’m grateful to Amy for been there for my daughter and in using positive encouragement when teaching. I would recommend this studio without any hesitations.

As a professional dancer as a child in the PA Ballet and dancing throughout college, I was looking for a studio that is supportive and welcoming, while also being a fun environment. Baltimore School of Dance has allowed me to perform again and finally take class again. BSD has also allowed me to spread my love of dance with the youth by teaching, as well. Amy, the owner, is an excellent role model, caring, and a wonderful teacher and boss. Definitely worth trying some classes!!

Baltimore School of Dance has afforded me the space to get back into the dance community in Baltimore as an adult. I have found the studio to be an inviting place to grow as a dancer, have fun and make mistakes. The classes are challenging and a great work out. It reminds me so much of the dance school where I grew up and I am glad to have found them!

I am so grateful that I was able to find such an amazing dance studio. From day one I was welcomed into a supportive community. Amy is a wonderful teacher who has given me personal corrections that have greatly improved my technique. Amy also uses positive encouragement in her teaching style to boast a dancer’s confidence. I can honestly say that my confidence as a dancer is improving because of this studio. I would recommend this studio to anyone who wants to feel valued as a dancer and wants to be part of an inclusive environment. I plan on dancing with BSD for several years to come.
