Arthur Murray Silver Spring is such a wonderful place to learn and have fun. Every instructor there is professional, encouraging, and kind. I studied here for 10 weeks over the summer, and I've become a much better dancer by participating in both private lessons, group lessons, and parties. This place is not only a dance studio, but also a heartwarming community, where you can receive and give so much love :) A special shout-out to Taylor and Ivanna for their patience with me in private lessons!

Lovely intro session with a great teacher! My husband and I were ready to sign up for more classes on the spot afterwards, but the 30 minute super hard sales pitch was genuinely uncomfortable and off-putting (it felt like we were stuck at an aggressive time share presentation with no escape). It was exhausting. Literally talked us out of signing up for more classes. We ended up running out of the studio. But we did enjoy the dancing though!

Purchased a Groupon two years ago to try dancing and immediately became hooked. Instruction consists of private lessons, group lessons and practice parties to put the steps you learn to use in a social setting. You can choose from variety of dances, including smooth (waltz, foxtrot, tango, etc.), rhythm (Latin and swing styles), and even country or other specialty dances. Each instructor is trained to teach students using a layered approach starting with basic steps that evolve as the student masters each step or pattern. I am enjoying learning how to dance from talented instructors and have taken lessons from several of the instructors, but primarily work with two—Omar and Alison. Can’t recommend them highly enough.

My fiancé and I started dancing here in January after his parents gifted us dancing lessons or cooking lessons for Christmas. We chose dancing because we figured not only was it something we always wanted to do, but it would bring us closer together during the week doing an activity other than sitting on the sofa watching tv. These lessons are great! We look forward to going to dance classes on Tuesday's and Thursday's (the nights that work with our schedules) and our private lessons with Omar (who we love!). It's a fun and friendly environment and I would totally recommend dancing here to anyone!

I've been dancing at Arthur Murray Silver Spring (AMSS) for a little over a year. I'm learning a lot and having a wonderful time. The staff is exceptionally attentive and welcoming. The instructors are excellent; each brings their own personal flair for teaching and dance. It's evident that the entire staff at AMSS cares about their students and works hard to create the best learning environment possible. I never expected to enjoy dance as much as I do or to find a place as committed to my growth as I have at AMSS. I encourage anyone who is interested in giving dance a try to come in and see what they have to offer - chances are you'll love it too!

If you want to learn to dance and meet new people Arthur Murray Dance Center Silver Spring is where you want to go. I have been going there for several months and the experience continues to be delightful. The facilities are first-rate. The instructors are exceptional and caring and the whole environment is welcoming. The learning experience is comfortable in that you can go to weekly group classes and practice parties to augment your private lessons. There is also a weekly dance where you can put it all together and just have a good time. You can do as little or as much as you like. The instructors are amazing at Arthur Murray. They really work hard to help provide you the skills and confidence you need to dance in any style. Our wedding would never been as amazing if it weren't for Allison and Ashley. Only drawback is it is a little pricey though.

I found a Groupon for Arthur Murray and it was an awesome deal! My (now) husband and I took a couple of private dance lessons a week out from our wedding. We worked with Sydney and she was amazing at teaching us a few steps for our first dance and making us feel a lot more comfortable about it. The classes were also a lot of fun and everyone who works there is extremely friendly and welcoming; I definitely plan on going back again some time! Thank you guys for your help!
