My daughter was a student at this school between 2017-2018 year. My work relocated my family shortly after I paid her fees. We asked for a refund and were denied based upon their policy that the fees are non refundable. We had no choice but to accept that and move on, though they had no real costs for that enrollment....they just wanted the money.
HOWEVER... I signed my daughter up in the community in Texas where we are moving ahead of time, and paid fees which were "non-refundable" to ensure she has a class spot saved... to my surprise, the school emailed us back and REFUNDED US THE FEES FOR THE FIRST MONTH as we won't be moved into the community until a month after the classes start.... and they did that without us even asking or thinking it was do-able.
I guess we were used to terrible business ethics by the subjected studio of SHAME.
WE were very grateful to this new school and I would like all to see that this is a great example of a dance school that cares about its customers.
Cathy Kurth only cares about REVENUE and nothing else.
Also, good luck speaking in person to anyone in an actual office. They have terrible office hours and they do not return phone calls or emails.
I also would like to say, that their system by which they receive advertisments require that they be sent in on a CD-ROM disc.
Who in this effing world now adays still uses that medium???? they may as well ask for Floppy disc files!!!! I had to go to Best Buy to buy an external CD-ROM writer just to jump through this schools ridiculous antiquated, slow-thinking, absentminded, vacuous, and self-important bureaucracy. If this school was a part of a community that had REAL COMPETITION, they would clean up their act.
