When I decided to enroll my granddaughter in ballet I initially went to set up a trial at another studio after receiving a Groupon as a gift. After multiple failed attempts to reach someone at that studio followed by one very unprofessional first and only meeting, I happened to pass by Stage I Dance Academy when they were open for registration. I decided to go in and was immediately greeted by Katie. That first impression remained consistent throughout my granddaughter's first year of dance, and has continued into her second year of dance! Katie and her entire staff are always cheerful and professional, and the environment they have created is very family-friendly and supportive. My granddaughter loved her ballet/tap class, and her first recital was an amazing experience! All of the music and costumes were age-appropriate. She is now dancing with the Performing Company and we are very excited for her second year of dance! Stage I also held their first annual appreciation event last year - so much fun for the dancers and their families! They also invite the most amazing guest choreographers and my granddaughter has really blossomed with all of these extra dance opportunities! Stage I Dance Academy really is an amazing dance studio. I highly recommend Stage I to anyone looking for a professional studio for their tiny dancers! P.S. Stage I also offers a variety of workout classes for adults (Zumba, PiYo, Barre Fitness)!

We love Stage 1 Dance Academy! My daughter is starting her fifth year this fall. The staff is friendly, professional, and always helpful. Stage 1 is our home away from home! ♥ Our oldest danced here for 7 years and our youngest is now going into her 8th year. We love the staff and feel good knowing our daughter will always have modest dances and costumes that are age appropriate. She is in performing company and her group has become family! The dance technique she's learned and the friendships she's made cannot be beat!

was there a year, my child got ignored said I was going to leave no one care enough, tried talking to them a bunch about what I could do to better her got ignored, if your not in the club there your kid what even like coming and instead of them trying to figure out and solve the problem they are quick to let you go wonder why? Also very stuck up moms there no conversation and if you are different you feel like you and your kid are getting talked about behind your back. But I tryed staying and sticking it out nothing done about any issues, I will say that the teachers are very qualified in there education for the classes it’s worth the money but the environment is not meet for anyone that didn’t come form that stuck up life

Stage 1 Dance Academy is the best! My daughter thoroughly enjoys her dance lessons. The staff is very knowledgeable and kind. They are incredibly organized. They also use tasteful dance costumes and perform age appropriate dances that are not risque. They send special little notes through the mail to my daughter as well.

My kids danced here for 6 years. We loved all the staff and the instructors. My girls did a couple years of hip hop, jazz/tap and advanced jazz classes. Instructors were always very friendly and well qualified. Both girls made lots of friends and have great memories. One daughter danced through high school graduation and my other daughter decided to focus more on another sport, but we miss this place! Would very much recommend.

Stage 1 is a great dance company. We have been with them for over 2 years now. My children are homeschooled and they have dance classes for homeschooling. My children also do gymnastics there. All the staff is wonderful. We love it at Stage 1!

We love Stage 1! The staff is very friendly! My daughter has opened up so much since starting dance at Stage 1. I love that they take the time to make each child feel included. My daughter occasionally gets tired and is reluctant to go to class, and they always try to get her to join them. We tried one other dance studio before Stage 1, and Stage 1 is way better.

I absolutely love Stage I! My daughter is 3 1/2 and looks forward to dance class every week! All of the instructors are so caring and work so well with even the youngest ones! Even when we missed nap time and she's in a cranky mood she brightens right up when she sees her teacher! Also neat I went to Stage I as a child so it's really awesome to continue that tradition! Stage 1 Dance Academy has been the most amazing experience for our girls! They absolutely love coming here every week, and hate whenever they have to miss class. The teachers are beyond incredible, and we feel so good about being part of the Stage 1 family. We love stage 1! My 2 year old daughter started coming may of this year and she begs to go to class. The creative movement class is perfect for her age. It is only 30 minutes which is great for her attention span. They start off singing a few songs then do some activities including some tumbling then a few more songs. The suckers and stamps at the end of class are always one of her favorite parts as well. The teachers are always smiling and happy to see the children. I have loved watching my daughter blossom since starting class.

Stage 1 has great teachers that work well with students and keep classes fun while teaching them how to be better dancers. Not only do you learn how to dance but you are taught how to be strong and confident in yourself through fun excercises, such as talking into a microphone to tell the class who you are and a little about yourself. My girls love going to dance class every week and always look forward to their Recital at the end of the year. They have improved so much at Stage 1 and made new friends while being there. I look forward to each year as they continue to learn more.
