I first tried out a free lesson at end of May 2014 after trying out a dance through a school program. I love it so we started attending and paying for/taking lessons from this studio after that free lesson. All the staff always have positive attitude and willing to help you learn the basics before you master advanced moves. I have seen it change my husband to be more confident in himself especially on the dance floor and develop more social skills- he's typically a quiet guy (a homebody- very happy to stay home). I love that we have parties at the studio every week and then there's group dances almost every night so you always have options on which dances you want to learn/practice every day.

All the personnel associated with Five Star Greenwood are the very best. They truly care about their students. The atmosphere is welcoming, friendly and FUN! The variety of dance classes and activities offered keep you constantly learning and growing. If you want a winter sport that doesn't involve freezing in the cold, is great exercise, offers the opportunity to meet new people and develop new friendships, not to mention is challenging and FUN ...This is for you!

My dad and I went to Five Star Dance Studios for our father-daughter dance. Jeff prepared us well but more importantly made my dad feel comfortable. I'm so glad we took this opportunity to spend time together. Preparing for a wedding is chaotic but coming to dance with my dad was something I looked forward to doing. Fantastic instructors in a very welcoming environment. Weekly dance parties and group classes for all skill levels, as well as regular dancing events and competitions for those so inclined. You would be hard pressed to find a better group that wants to see you grow and succeed in dance.

Five Star Dance studio targets the social dance scene. That is, they're teaching students the necessary skill in order to be proficient on the dance floor in a social setting. (e.g. a wedding, or a night out at a dance club) While there are students who participate in regional and national competitions, it is not expected for students to participate, it is merely offered to any that may be interested. In order for students to keep up with their skills, Five Star holds weekly practice parties, and daily (Monday - Friday) evening group lessons, that students can attend. Dancing for my wife and I provides us exercise, a fun hobby, and quality time to spend together on the dance floor.

For four years, my husband and I have taken lessons at Five Star Dance Studios and, although we've been students at all 3 locations, greenwood is our primary studio. We have experienced the benefits of ballroom dance under the careful tutelage of our instructors, who are knowledgeable and dedicated professionals. Dance has become an integral part of our time, as well as an educational and enjoyable hobby, thanks to their instruction. Five Star's curriculum is geared towards social dance and all 3 locations offer environments that are supportive to new and current students. The staff and students are always enthusiastic and encouraging despite the various missteps that happen along the way.

Five Stars for Five Star Dance Studios! After fewer than three months at Five Star Dance Studios, I became a certified novice! The talented, fun, experienced, educated, creative, friendly, intelligent, caring staff at Five Star Dance Studios are great examples of what love of dancing is all about. The interpersonal relations among the staff and students at all the awesome Five Star Dance Studios Indy campuses create an up-scale family atmosphere. From theme parties and group lessons to individual lessons or intercampus and international competitions, Five Star Dance Studios is the place for adults of all ages to have fun while learning to dance. Be it social dance for clubbing and special occasions - or refining more rigidly-structured competitive styles - the wonderful staff at Five Star Dance Studios excels at advancing students toward mastering the art of dance. I've always loved dancing; now I'm learning how to love correctly dancing! It's so much more fun when it's done with a smile! Lessons are taught on the Medal Principle; so students at the group lessons are not uncomfortable because they are always learning with students on their own level of progress. Teachers are so patient with my faux pas! Guests are welcome at any of the Thursday (usually 8:15pm) group lessons followed by a practice party. I always learn something new and practice what I've supposed to already have learned. The studios have practice parties on Saturdays in rotation among the three. Guests are welcome. The country and theme celebration practice parties are just fabulous! Teachers dance with students; students dance with students; guests dance with teachers and students! Such fun! Each studio offers a free lesson. Whichever studio you choose - Carmel, Fishers, or Greenwood (hint hint), tell 'em Marie sent ya!
