Visceral Dance Center is hands down the best place to take a good class in chicago! Not only does the super awesome facility make you feel welcome, it's clean too! I've taken almost every class on the schedule and am rarely disappointed. The staff is very knowledgable and dedicated in each of their classes. Karly Hansen and Nick Pupillo are hands down my two favorite classes on the schedule. They both push you to work hard; you never leave without learning something new. Karly's classes are so open, welcoming and refreshing while Nicks are extremely inspiring and challenging. There is not a bad class on the schedule! Thanks to Nick Pupillo for providing a fantastic place to dance and sharing your talent.

Visceral is amazing! This studio has so many offerings: a well-developed youth program, 8-week adult beginner sessions that make starting dance as an adult encouraging and fun, and adult drop-in classes with amazing and versatile teachers. I especially recommend Jackie Nowicki's Contemporary Jazz class - such a worthwhile challenge!

Visceral is one of the best places to get solid training for any professional dancers, but also being able to enjoy some fun classes like hip hop, and jazz funk. The facility is at an amazing location with a lot of parking, close to the highway and the city but without the city chaos. It is kept very clean, and as a dancer whenever floor work is given, it feels great to know you are dancing on a clean floor. The staff is really friendly and welcoming, and the teachers are exceptional :) Check it out for yourself and enjoy some dancing. Great place for rentals too.

I have been continuously impressed by Visceral Dance Center! The studios are beautiful and the faculty and staff are unbelievably friendly. From the moment you walk in the door you feel welcome. This is a perfect studio for professional and novice dancers. You will walk out feeling challenged, excited, and wanting more!

Very good dance school. I went here a while back for hip-hop classes. The instructor was very good, but the beginner class was fairly advanced. Many of the people in the classes had been doing it for quite a while so they were familiar with how the instructor taught. Otherwise a very serious dance studio.

Every teacher I've ever taken class with here is extremely knowledgable in their teaching, and I love to learn from each of their artistic styles. I find that the smaller the class, the more feedback you get, but I'm inspired greatly by the other students when I find myself in larger classes, which is also an added bonus. I am always challenged and finding new ways to improve upon my technique every day spent here, and most everyone is super friendly.
