she yelled at me constantly and gave everyone else positive feedback so all i got was negative comments from her and she told everyone else the shoes we were supposed to have for competition except me!! she was always rude to me and i would never dance there!!! + lots more but i wouldn’t wanna expose her too hard. the “dance teacher” mrs Kara doesn’t teach anybody to dance she just sits on the floor eating McDonald’s and yells at kids for not knowing The dance routine when she hasn’t been teaching them anything.

My daughter is her third season there. She and I love it! She has learned so much and all the kids and parents are kind and sweet!

This is my daughters sixth year dancing at stars...I cannot believe how far she has come...They have taken her from being an iitty bitty running around in ballet/tap shoes to a dancer on their award winning competition team. They TRULY ARE a family there...Kara, the owner, has not ONLY taken my daughter's love for dance and showed her how to use it on the dance floor but she loves her like her own. She and the rest of the teachers are so supportive, encouraging, and PROUD of their dancers. Love this place...

My daughter has only been dancing there for 2 years and has learned more and been given more opportunity than any other studio she's danced at. Shannon Nordman is an amazing teacher, choreographer and mentor. And Kara the owner is very organized and does a great job of communicating with the parents. I would recommend it to any girl or boy that wants to better their dance skills or just have fun and learn how to dance.

This is my daughters 1st year at Star R Us Dance Studio. She has grown exponentially since the beginning of the year. Her technique and confidence are stronger than ever. We are so happy to have found a studio that provides great training and caters to all levels of dance.

The chick with the license plate (stars r us) just almost ran me and my father off the road on pfingsten at lake cook just a few minutes ago. Today Saturday December 19th at noon. If you are going to be a dick on the road, don't do it in a company vehicle. I hope your children turn out to be better drivers than you are ma'am. You just had to get in front on one more car to sit at the red light where we turned out of your way anyway. Tis tis.

Worst dance studio. No windows to watch your kids so you don't even know what they're being taught. My kids came out and said they have free time most of the time! Sorry not paying for that. Also we were told our kids couldn't do recitals for at least 2 years!!!! Nope. I'll take my money elsewhere.

Our first year here and we were so glad to make the change. Although it is a farther drive from where we are located it is worth every mileage when i see my daughter beaming everyday coming home to show me what she learned that day. The training rocks. The team is a FAMILY. The coaches are mentors and parents to the kids. The parents are continuously supporting each other, nerver a negative word. Yeah it doesnt have windows... i dont get to watch much, but when my daughter can now do 5 pirouettes and clean a la seconde turns and shows me her 6 pack abdominal muscles i know she is learning something. Oh and my son dances here too... and LOVES it.
