Rebecca McCarthy School Of Dance is definitely the studio of choice in Crystal Lake, Algonquin, Huntley, or Lake in the Hills!! Trust me, you want your dancer at RMSD!! Not only do they have great instructors they spend time working on technique but the atmosphere is friendly and is a home away from home!! There are many genres to choose from and your dancer gets to experience various instructors and teaching techniques. We have been nothing but pleased for the last 5 years and are thrilled about the new location coming near Lou Malnati's this fall...2017!!! I highly recommend RMSD and look forward to watching many more fabulous performances!!! Her recitals are the BEST!!

We have been with the Rebecca McCarthy School of Dance for 7 years now and both my daughters LOVE it!! I researched many studios in the area and RMSD was by far the best! They offer a wide variety of dance styles, the instructors are very professional, structured, and great with kids. Every time my daughter performs with the dance company at different events, spectators will come up and say how wonderful the dancers are and how impressed they are! I have recommended this studio to many families and will continue to do so. We are so lucky to have a studio that makes us feel like we are a part of their dance family!

Our daughter started ballet at 18 months and intermittently participated at another studio in town and at the park district. When she was 3, we started her with Rebecca McCarthy. This is where her love for dance truly fostered! She immediately took to Rebecca and the studio, and is in her 3rd year of dancing with no end in sight (which we're excited about)! Our experience with RMSD has been nothing short of wonderful. The program is excellent, the instructors are phenomenal. Everything is organized, articulate, and well thought out- the schedule, special events, picture day, recital, etc. The energy and passion Rebecca has shows in all she does, and most importantly, shows in the dancers. We are grateful to be here and highly recommend.

Hands down the best studio in the area. We researched and visited many studios around but nothing compared to RMSD. My daughter’s dance career started right before her 2nd birthday and she has loved all her instructors every step of the way.

My daughter is enrolled in the Rebecca McCarthy School of Dance and absolutely loves it. To be honest, I looked at other schools in the Crystal Lake and Algonquin area and none come close to what this school offers. The prices here are better than the others and the staff and instructors are friendly and courteous. The McDance Company offers endless opportunities to perform.

By far the best dance studio! All the instructors are so great with kids & incredibly attentive. My two daughters (8 & 11) have been taking dance lessons & love it so much. They are more confident & poised, I love seeing them improve & enjoy themselves so much.

Rebecca McCarthy School of Dance has come to our preschool for the last couple years during March (St. Patrick's Day Season) and we have ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!! She teaches the children all about St. Patrick's Day and teaches them all Irish Dancing! What a great program this dance studio has!
