My husband and I bought lessons donated by the Glenview Arthur Murray studio to a school auction. They changed my life and, as I celebrate my third anniversary of being a student, I can not say enough good things about the professionalism and love of dance that the staff of this studio bring to the experience. There might be cheaper lessons out there, but you get what you pay for and more like a fabulous supporting community of fellow students and teachers. Anyone reading this should also know that the review by Mr. Bonev below is untrue. He did not go to the studio for lessons but is a former employee which I can say based upon personal knowledge of his being a teacher during the time I have been with the studio.

A huge YES goes to Arthur Murray Glenview dance studio. I loved this place the very first second I hopped in one year and half ago. And my love has been blooming since then. YES for: A lovely, elegant place to learn to dance and to become the dancer you even didn’t dare to dream of; Lovely, energetic, friendly, and savvy staff ready to teach people fancy, ballroom dances (through individual classes and group classes); A lovely community of dancers and friends; Lovely parties and events to dance and spend time with friends from the studio; The best place to date my husband every week (almost being accompanied by our two kids) and dance our evening away; A great place for my 11 old son to take dancing classes..

We began dancing at Arthur Murray about a year ago. In the past we tried group lessons at various locations with little satisfaction. At Arthur Murray, you get individual attention. Also, group classes are leveled so everyone can enjoy the dancing experience. The staff and instructors are very professional. All of the instructors are accomplished dancers trained to teach in a method that is encouraging and positive. The facility has a great ballroom. We love this place!

My wife and I have been students for over 11 years, including the time when Mr. Bonev (below) was an instructor, not part of a wedding couple coming in for lessons. The staff is very generous with their time and energy, and nothing if not professional. And while they will talk to you about buying lessons, let's be realistic - they've got a business to run. As I said, 11 years. I wouldn't do anything I didn't enjoy for 11 minutes. I would not be surprised if we're still dancing there in another 11 years.

Really bad place. There prices are just crazy. Trying to sell all the time ... Hate it. I went there for my wedding and they try to sell me a lesson package of 4000$...

My wife and I took individual lessons at the Glenview dance studio for our first dance at our wedding - English Waltz, as well as other social dances. We had a fantastic time during every single dance lesson. We'd like to thank all the instructors who made our dream of performing a beautiful, elegant wedding waltz come true. You guys are great!
