I love Arthur Murray Oakbrook! My husband and I started taking lessons about six months ago and we have learned so much. Our instructor Greg is the best! I was hesitant at first about walking in the door but I couldn't be happier with what I've gained from learning to dance. Not only have I learned to dance, I've gained confidence, I always have fun, and I've made so many friends. Everyone at the Oakbrook studio is great. I have to say it again...I love Arthur Murray Oakbrook!

Wow!!!!! Wow!!!! Wow!!!! I can only just applaud this wonderful team of instructors. They are some of the best in the business. They put their heart and sole into the students and their dedication to teaching people the beauty of dance. My wife and I have been with Arthur Murray for several years and we are reminded day after day how great the owner of the studio James Dutton has run this studio and his ability to develop staff that are true professionals. We have been taking lessons for several years and plan on continuing for many more to come. They certainly make the learning process fun and enjoyable. How do you spell “Rachel?” Well, I don’t know about you, but I spell it “W-O-W!” Rachel is leading a Core Rhythms class at Arthur Murray which I have been attending for several weeks now. Oh . . . my . . . gosh! That class is amazing and it’s because Rachel is teaching it! You burn calories AND you learn how to do something called “Cuban motion” which you need for all the Latin dances. Well, believe me, Rachel knows how to do it. And, there’s no slacking in her class. No, sir! She works hard to make sure her students continue to grow and get it right! Check it out, sometime. (Oh, yeah, I’ve seen her dance, too, and she is amazing!)

A year ago, I attended a reunion, after which a group of us went dancing. I'd always wanted to learn how to dance, but didn't know where to start. That reunion was the catalyst that prompted me to research dance studios, atmosphere, pricing, and actual programs. The most difficult part was gathering the courage to walk through the door of the studio. After I did, I wondered why I'd waited so long to do so. The staff at Arthur Murray is so enthusiastic, welcoming, and fun...that you are immediately put to ease. My instructor, Greg, is utterly fantastic. I've also enjoyed styling lessons with Robyn, who is equally gifted and talented. I've had the pleasure of group classes with Greg, Robyn, David, and Jen. I've also taken numerous lessons at the Naperville Arthur Murray studio. When I researched other studios, the thing that impressed me most about Arthur Murray was how they would teach me multiple steps that could be used in a variety of different dances. I quickly learned that the group classes offered the opportunity to dance with multiple partners and to learn from a variety of people. I've made many new friends as a result of those classes. Arthur Murray is a perfect place to learn your "first couples dance" for your own wedding, or to brush up your skills for your own son or daughter's wedding. They prepared me, so that I could go social dancing with friends. My confidence increased as a result of dancing and I found it to be relaxing. It's a wonderful stress reviever after a difficult day. The atmosphere at the studio is fun, vibrant, welcoming.

My wife and I started taking lessons back in May of 2012 for fun. Six months into it and we are having a blast. She has always wanted to learn to dance and I want to make her happy. The staff here is amazing. Our personal Instructor, Greg K., could not be more fun to work with. His knowledge is unreal and and his energy is contagious. The daily group classes are also very fun and give you something to do here almost every day of the week! Learn to dance, make some friends and it's a fun form of exercise. If you told me a year ago what I would be doing now and what I had learned in these past 6 months, I wouldn't believe you. If you have ANY desire to learn how to dance, stop in to Arthur Murray today.

This is a fantastic place to be. Been there for three months now as of nov 14th 2015. Great place. Ambience is excellent. By gods grace they have a group of staff members who are soo friendly that you would feel that you are family. Did NOT know a single bit of ball room dancing three months back and last night, I was doing social dancing with all my friends , doing Mirengue, Hustle, Tango, Walls and Foxtrot. what more you want? just three months and they trained so well, trained with a smile, trained thru group classes, trained thru dance camps, to boost up the confidence so high that I walked into a restaurant, about 2 months into the training and found a group of people dancing there, and started dancing with them, and found out that I was dancing by God's Grace,much better than all the people dancing there,. Recommend this place to any one who wants to learn social dancing/ball room dancing. Have a blessed day. Enjoy life. Dance your god given life. and remember"life is short, life is beautiful, and it has an expiry date"

This review is long overdue. Anthony was awesome to work with and helped us choreograph our 1st dance together as Husband and Wife. He was very patient with us. We had a great time practicing and going to their dance parties. I would highly recommend Arthur Murray Dance Studio. Thank you Anthony!

I have been learning to dance with Arthur Murray Oak Brook for six months. Originally, I thought I would only take a few lessons just so I could learn to follow someone on the dance floor. I didn’t think I would be attending the group classes but that quickly changed after I attended my first one. I had so much fun learning the basic steps and continuing to work on what I had learned in my private lessons. The staff is amazing, and makes you feel extremely welcome. I have learned so much from my awesome instructor, Greg. From the beginning, he tailored my lessons to my specific expectations, and he is always patient when I mess up. I now feel comfortable following in most of the different dances. Greg and another really great instructor, Robyn, have choreographed two different routines, just for me, which I have learned and performed at some of the different Arthur Murray events. On Fridays, after group class, there is a party for everyone to get together to dance. It gives you an opportunity to dance with students at all different skill levels. At any given time, you will probably see some of the students hanging after class to practice or socialize. It is definitely a fun atmosphere that you will enjoy. So, if you have ever thought about trying ballroom dancing, you should stop by Arthur Murray Oak Brook. You will have so much fun; meet a lot of new friends; and burn a lot of calories.
