Blatant favoritism, only gives attention to the star, doesn’t congratulate all people after performing, is EXTREMELY ignorant and doesn’t know anything she talks about (especially social issues), maintains that getting good grades isn’t important, blames dancers for everything when it’s not their fault, and is possibly the worst atmosphere to put your kid in. I’d rate it 0/5 if I could.

My daughter has been dancing at Center Stage for nine years (since she was three). She LOVES it. The friendships, confidence, creativity, and responsibility she has developed by being part of a team has been wonderful to see. Her teachers are supportive, kind, and positive and the atmosphere is one of inclusiveness. She's found her passion and her "happy place"!

I can't tell you how much of a thrill it was for me to watch my 5 year old granddaughter doing her dances at her recital with a smile on her face. You can see the pride of real accomplishment in her and the other dancers' faces. As well as training dancers, they are building confidence, self-esteem and outgoing personalities.

Our daughter has danced at Center Stage Dance Studio for the past six years, and our family is thrilled with her experience there. The mindset of the studio is to inspire the love of dance, to provide top-notch training, to personalize their approach for each dancer, and to create elegant, innovative, dynamic, beautiful performances. The studio is family-owned and involved in the community, but even more important is that the teachers and owners are invested in the lives and growth of their students. Simply put, they care. What sets CDSD apart? Balance. They know the balance of disciplined learning combined with positive reinforcement, the balance of appropriate and artistic choreography and costumes that fit the age of the dancers, and the balance of enhancing the busy lives of young people with the power of the arts. Our daughter loves dancing at Center Stage and we love how happy it makes her...and watching her grow in confidence and grace there.

Super talented dancers, teachers take the time to correct and critique every dancer in a caring and beneficial way. Office staff are extremely helpful and enjoyable and love getting to know each individual! Best dance studio in Asheville period.

Do not send your children here to dance. Please enroll them in a studio that praises hard work and effort, not one that diminishes academic achievement and puts the stage before school. Also, it is the opposite of an encouraging environment.

Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Because of their negligence, my sister had to have a hip surgery at 14 to repair cartilage damage and now has chronic migraines because the teacher wasn't spotting when she was doing tricks & she fell on her head. Both injuries could have been prevented. On top of that, the owner's 40+ year-old son-in-law harassed her (a minor) online and when brought up to the owner/staff, they accused my sister and father of lying and covered it up. I wouldn't feel safe leaving her there alone & am appalled that they're covering up that kind of behavior when all or most of their students are young girls. Find a different dance studio.

Terrible dance studio with an overwhelmingly negative atmosphere. Extremely ignorant dance teacher who ignores everyone while praising the star. Take your child to a different studio, trust me.

South side dance studio in Fletcher is alot better dancers are taught better and it's more reasonable cost. Many people have switched we are a much more inviting and fun establishment.

Great teachers that take the time with their students. They care not only about the quality of what they teach, but most importantly that each and every student thrives and enjoys the time that they spend. My daughter attends the studio and absolutely loves the content, the instructors and the facility!

We had a great Adv. Ballet class here. Visiting for the summer and we didn't want our daughter loosing any progress before fall auditions. They were welcoming and tg e clasd was challenging and fun.

My oldest is going into her 3rd year with Center Stage, she has gone from pre-ballet, to ballet and tap, and now to a jazz/tap combo class this year. Her little sister started last year also and will be attending a ballet/tap class this fall. We love this studio and all of the teachers! Everyone is very friendly and kind. They also make a point to learn all the dancer's names, as well as the parent's names. My girls love it and I have seen so much growth in both of them since starting with Center Stage.
