They challenge us in doing so we learn more. I feel that I could have a future in dance if I keep going. I just took my third week and feel that I can preform In an audience. The leaders are nice and help us learn beats and become more flexible.

I've been dancing here since I was 4 and so far this helped me become a better dancer! Great place to go if you wanna be a professional dancer. (EDIT) If you are confused read this: If you are new, the very first week of the classes are all free. The next couple weeks up to rehearsal are open for you to watch your child dance. After that it's practice practice practice until concert. If you wanna watch, you should go to the PARENT MEETINGS and get the website URL because in the meetings, they explain how you order it. The meetings are typicaly held on a Saturday and a Sunday so you can go. you AREN'T allowed to watch your child during rehearsal weeks until the concert days. If you wanna buy the tickets, you got to be fast, they run out quick. If you don't get it, well you snooze you lose. Well if your child is in the NextGen part of the company, you can always buy the Concert DVD, made after a few months after the shows. If you're in the Adult classes, then you better hope they're preforming with NextGen, because if they are, they put it on the DVD. During rehearsal weeks, NextGen has 4 days to practice: Monday is half the classes, Tuesday is the other half, Wednesday has all the classes, and Thursday has dress rehearsal (come in costume!) On Friday, it might have a show, or a break. Sat and Sun are usually shows. If you're in the adult classes, you have late practices because they are after NextGen. They even have later shows if they aren't in NextGen. Well that's it. Bye!

My two daughter, (ages 13 & 15) took their beginning Jazz class for a semester (fall 2017) and we will not being going back! So the goods first: really nice teachers who know what they're doing and decently priced classes. And the bads: they are extremely disorganized; no schedule for extra practices you just find out the day before or the week before that the times have changed so there's no way to know before the classes start, what the time commitment will be. They also require very long and late practices before their recitals, (every weeknight until 10pm on school nights!) My biggest complaint is that their whole ticket set up is terrible. There is no communication that goes home with the kids telling parents how to buy tickets. What they do is post a little website link up by the front desk and expect everyone to know how to buy tickets. And then they don't let you know so by the time you find out, all the tickets are sold out because the people who have danced with them before know the routine, but anyone new is left out, literally because you don't get tickets so you don't get to see your kids dance. When I spoke with the Director of the studio about it, he actually laughed in my face and told me I should have bought tickets sooner. When I told him I hadn't been told where/when/how to buy them he accused me of lying. Needless to say that wasn't a pleasant custumer service encounter. And after that unpleasant conversation he went into the dance class and yelled at my kids and all the other kids who didn't have tickets yet. There aren't even word to describe how inappropriate his behavior was. In the end he took my name and number and told me he would call me if there were any cancellations, but the show's tomorrow. I haven't received a call and he isn't returning any of mine. Over all, what I want is to see my kids dance and have the pay-off for the classes I've been paying for all semester. Whether we get to see them perform or not, we will NOT be going back.
