I have know Ms.Djana from the age 5 when I took class at Norman's Academy of Dance when I had my daughter my dad said we have to find Ms. Djana because she is the best and that's is exactly what I did and we have been there ever since!!!! My daughter is a 9th grade in the dance department at Tri-Cities high school. Ms.Djana has taught my daughter from the age of 4 years and my daughter has grown as a dancer and a person. My daughter Deja and three more student from Norman's was accepted into Alvein Ailey summer program in New York because of Ms.Djana and the teachers at Norman's Academy of Dance. I can't think them a enough for helping me raises my daughter and not only teaching her dance but teaching her life long values.. Thanks Ms.Djana and Norman's Academy of Dance for being part of my village!!!!

I taught at Norma's Academy of Dance (NAOD) for 7 years, and I have NEVER experience what Christopher Plunkett is talking about. Djana Bell has always conducted herself and her business in a professional manner. In fact NAOD is always one of the few places I ask parents to consider when they seek my advice on quality dance training for their children. As an dance educator with a Juilliard degree, I highly recommend NAOD for a solid foundation in dance, from baby ballet to high school seniors considering dance as a major.

As a past student and a current teacher at Norma's Academy of Dance I would have to strongly disagree with previous review. Myself along with the other staff members are trained and experienced to teach, and we do our jobs very well. I've been teaching here for over 5 years and never experienced what Christopher Plunkett is stating. As far as the training that is provided at the academy, it's 2nd to none. Norma's has been apart of the dance community for over 40 years and that doesn't happen if you are not providing "quality" training. I know from a personal account that the training is great. I trained at the Academy for over 10 years and it afforded me several opportunities to share my God giving gift of Dance with the world. And because of the lasting affects Ms. Djana Bell had on my life I decided to come back home and assist in giving life long lessons and gifts to a new generation. Once again I whole heartly disagree with Mr. Plunkett, and if you would like to give your child a lasting gift please do it at Norma's Academy of Dance. And always Remember to Stay Humble and Kind.

My daughter has been dancing her for 3 years. I must say it has been a great experience for her. She has learned a lot in each class and her confidence is continuously increasing. Her ballet teacher allows the students to engage in the learning process by asking them to rate their progress on different things they are learning in class. I love the fact that the teachers are always on time for class. If a teacher is running late, another teacher will step in their place to get the class started until the primary teacher arrives. My daughter participates in 2 recitals each year. They are always well put together and organized. As you can see, our experience has been great. Hopefully you will join to "Give your child a lasting gift" as well.

As a student at Norma's Academy of Dance, I have been exposed to so many different things because of the AMAZING STAFF at NAOD. They push me to work harder and I always end up surprising myself in the end. The teachers get so close to the students that we instantly become family.

As a employee of Norma's Academy of Dance for 10 years, my experience has been nothing short of amazing. The children are wonderful and the director and staff exude a welcoming atmosphere. Norma's Academy of Dance was established in 1972, with the director leading the academy for over 36 years. This is a testament to her professionalism and genuine heart. I am also a product of the training at Norma's Academy of Dance and am a testament of the SUPERB instructors that have walked through the doors of Norma's Academy of Dance. My training afforded me NUMEROUS opportunities to pursue a professional career. In opposition to Christopher Plunkett's post, I have NEVER experienced anything that he is describing. To defame a brand of 46 years is extremely insulting and unprofessional. It is also insulting to defame the many experienced instructors at the Academy. Norma's Academy of Dance is a pioneer dance studio in Atlanta, GA and has been an influential business in the community for children and adults. Several studio owners in Atlanta and other states have gone on to open their own studios due to the impact Ms. Bell has had on their lives. Give your child a lasting gift at Norma's Academy of Dance!

Take it from a parent's perspective that Norma's Academy of Dance (NAOD) undoubtedly provides unparalleled dance training to a multiplicity of students in Metro Atlanta. For more than 40 years I have been exposed and have experienced (firsthand) the quality of unprecedented instruction that is facilitated at the studio. Hundreds of students have gone on to not only be professional dancers but influencers and renown choreographers in the dance industry in the US and abroad. I was floored when I read a negative Google Review that was posted about Norma's and I wholeheartedly disagree. I have NEVER written a Google review but felt inclined to write one because I feel so strongly about how Djana Bell, Artistic Director, and her staff provide such a high caliber of dance training that has been recognized in the community for many years. Being around for more than 4 decades touts the level of excellence that NAOD provides and will provide for many, many more years to come. Bring your child to Norma's Academy of Dance to cultivate the "lasting gift of dance". I thank God for Norma's!
