The staff was extremely friendly and professional. We went to Atile for a choreographed first wedding dance and she came up with an amazing dance. She was a great teacher and was able to break down each step so that we could understand. We had so much fun throughout the process and looked forward to our lessons each week. She was patient and kind. The dance blew everyone away at the wedding and was worth every minute!!! We started with zero dance experience.

Dance Harmony is a professionally managed dance studio in Alpharetta that is a wonderful home for both the casual social dancer and the competitive dance student. Martin and Liene Reinbold care about their students and arrange group lessons, private instruction and fun parties. They are also training Champions at every age level. I have studied International Ballroom since it opened and love how everyone is a big family supporting each other. I highly recommend Dance Harmony.

This is not exactly a review. Chances are if you are reading this, you've already been through many excellent Dance Harmony reviews on this site, and I don't want to sound cliché by repeating what others have said before. Instead, I would like to take a different spin and reflect on the impact great teachers have on our lives. No matter what you are trying to achieve: studying a math subject in school, learning to play a musical instrument, or honing your career skills, the importance of having a great teacher by your side cannot be underestimated. Good teachers inspire students, make an effort to understand their strengths and weaknesses, and ensure each student receives personalized learning plan according to one’s proficiency level and abilities. Ballroom dancing is no different… My wife and I had started taking ballroom classes a few years ago. We danced in different studios in the Atlanta area with different instructors. While we really enjoyed the activity, something was missing. At the end of each practice, it felt more like a good cardio exercise rather than dancing. It all, however, changed one day when Dance Harmony opened its doors. Because the new studio was really close to where we live, we decided to give it a try. After attending several basic and intermediate group lessons taught by Martin Reinbold, we were won over. Martin’s wealth of knowledge and ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms made us look at the ballroom dancing from a completely different, unexpected perspective. We also took a few private lessons with Liene Reinbold and were blown away by her positive energy, passion for dancing, and dedication to students. Meeting Martin and Liene was such an eye opener! We’ve been taking classes with both Martin and Liene for almost 2 years now and couldn’t be happier. Martin and Liene are classically trained ballroom teachers who always make sure their students have a good grasp of basics before progressing to more advanced levels. This path truly requires a lot of patience on both sides. It’s a hard work with lots of sweat and even tears, but rewards are well worth it! If you want to learn how to dance properly and avoid injuries then there is no other way. I wish there were a silver bullet… So, no matter what your situation is (you are a beginner who doesn’t know where to start or an intermediate / advanced dancer who wants to take his dancing to the next level) come visit Dance Harmony and talk to Martin and Liene. Not only will you find the beautiful dance studio but also fantastic teachers with great level of expertise who listen, inspire, push you to your limits and always be there for you. And who knows, maybe you will make a few new friends along the way…

Martin and Liene are extremely professional, talented, detailed, passionate about dance, encouraging when it comes to their students, strict if needed, and fun to learn from. They are simply AWESOME! I'd like to UPDATE my review about Dance Harmony from a year ago. It has been an incredible experience for my daughter and I dare to say for the other kids as well. The physical, mental and emotional improvements in their students is undeniable and evident. What parent doesn't dream about teaching their kids confidence, strengthening their self esteem, exposing them to positive discipline and meaningful challenges? Well, that is precisely what the coaches at Dance Harmony teach our kids, not just dance, which is in and of itself is impeccable. Not to mention the fun time away from screen and devices. I cannot thank Martin, Liene, Atilie and Slava enough for their positive, strong and auspicious influence they have had on my daughter. I would advice any parent who thinks taking dance lessons is just that, to come and observe the classes here and see for themselves the broad scale of benefits children obtain by being in the right environment lead by the right coaches.

Martin is an incredible instructor who truly cares about his students’ progress. I've been dancing with the owners, Martin and Liene Reinbold for years. They are renowned dance competitors who truly and noticabley love what they do. You have to meet them to really understand their passion for not only ballroom dance, but their devoted students. They are located in an excellent part of Alpharetta, just minutes from the Avalon. The ballrooms are very spacious and chic in which they hold weekly social dance parties. An opportunity for students to meet and dance with one another. While I do not train at Dance Harmony myself, I have now had a privilege to watch two competitions in which Dance Harmony competed. Dancers from this school stand out immediately on the dance floor! Their skill and hard work are not only apparent to the spectator, but also are often recognized with gold medals and first places. I highly recommend this school to anyone who is looking for a fun way to stay in shape or who is looking to join the competition circuit!

Liene and Martin are the most incredible dance teachers and wonderful people, too. They live, eat and breath ballroom dancing. The two compete at the professional level together. They have even danced and been rated at Blackpool, which is like going to the Olympics of International ballroom dancing. I believe that the very best dance teachers are the ones that always strive to improve their craft and then allow themselves to be regularly judged by their peers to validate their efforts. If you really want to learn ballroom dance, start with the best so you won't have to go back and correct everything you learned later.

You can easily spot Dance Harmony’s students at the local social dancing events as well as at the national dancesport competitions. Dance Harmony’s pro/am traveling team has shown great results over the years, including but not limited to wins of national titles at the United States Dance Championships, and other prestigious dancesport events such as Ohio Star Ball, Millennium Championship, and others. These achievements are truly a reflection of the quality of the teaching that the students receive at the studio. Dance Harmony also offers convenient group dance class schedule. In my opinion, Dance Harmony has the most comprehensive ballroom dance education program for adults in the entire Atlanta area. Group classes are taught by highly trained professional dance teachers and are offered almost daily at the convenient time for working adults. There are classes for everyone, even children! Dance Harmony is one of the few best dance studios in metro Atlanta if not in GA state, to my opinion. It represents and declares the best traditions of the European dance school. The studio itself is open, bright, contemporary and welcoming. The staff is outstanding. Each teacher is a high-end professional with a tremendous experience and achievements in dancing. They coach competitive dancers as well as total beginners treating both equally - sharing knowledge and attention regardless to the level of the student. Martin and Liene are the "backbone" of the studio. They make you feel welcome and want to come back. I take Martin's social dance classes and i can tell they are fun and offer to learn dance technique more in depth. Both of my children (4 and 6 years old) are taking Atile's class. Atile is a former world competitive dancer with a broad international experience. She is absolutely wonderful and caring with kids but at the same time she makes them focus and learn which is always tricky with young children. If a teacher can work with trickiest students - children, that tells a lot about that teacher. Slava Visnakovs is a separate story which i can go on endlessly about. I am not going to list all his achievements and titles in dancing and his international experience. I consider myself lucky and honored to be his student and grateful for the unique knowledge he shares with me. There are not too many people like Slava in any industry - talented, knowledgeable, highly professional with a total dedication to what he is doing. His approach is unique. Starting with basics, he teachers the anatomy of the movements and steps but most important he teaches something at the higher level, something besides mechanics and techniques I would say something that makes those mechanics come alive and that turns all the steps and movements into a master piece called Dance. Only someone so talented equally in teaching and dancing can teach that.
