I've learned a number of dances at Sultry Swing from their nightly group lessons. Not only do you learn the steps and the musicality but you also meet other people to practice your dances. It's pay as you go. Usually a night fee of $15 for several hours of group lessons with 20-30 people. You can speed up the learning process by taking private lessons. The teachers are all very knowledgeable. The weekend dances are a hoot. It's a very family oriented studio and a very cheap way to learn to dance.

This place always puts a smile on my face. Everyone is treated like family here. I remember from the very first time I ever entered the doors last year, I was so nervous! I was greated with a hug from JP. A wonderful woman that I assumed worked there. Much to my surprise, she was just taking lessons like myself but greets & loves everyone the same way. Ron; who sadly moved to the West Coast of Florida would ALWAYS walk the women to their car at night. He doesn't work there either but the community of people here are just amazing! The instructors are all extremely talented & are some of the most handsome gentleman that I have had the opportunity to work & dance with. I'm blessed to have met such a great community of friends that I now think of as family. It was satisfying to get back into the "SWING" of my routine tonight since I've been out of town for the past couple of weeks. It's great to be home!! Thanks John & Mary Jane Harris for creating such a wonderful atmosphere!

Fabulous studio! The Friday night dance party had a great mix of fun music and friendly people. John put me (a nervous newcomer) at ease and is a wonderful teacher.

John is a very experienced and skilled instructor, his workshops are well planned, well paced to learn and improve every time. Lot's of fun, the space is big with a great floor!
