DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE! I looked for a local dance school because my 7 year old son was interested in dance but didn't know what type. After a season of bringing him every week for lessons, he was excited for the recital. At the second day of rehearsals for the recital, I waited through almost two hours of every other dance's corrections and seeing those more than once it was finally time for my son's dance. I was shocked when I didn't see him on stage. After the dance was finished without him, I went to ask the staff why he wasn't there. The management notified me that they had failed to get him from the dressing room area before the dance. They didn't notice throughout the dance that he was absent from the stage? After I brought it to their attention, there was no apology or acknowledgement of THEIR mistake. They didn't offer to do the dance again with him either. They left me to explain to my son why he was forgotten. When I asked for them to get my son so we could leave, they tried to tell me we would have to wait until the rest of the rehearsal was complete. Knowing my son would have to sit there for the rest of the time without having performed himself was unacceptable. After they brought my son, I overheard management say loud enough for my son and I to hear that they didn't care we were leaving and it wasn't a "huge loss". I will not be coming back. I gladly accept the loss of the 10 nonrefundable tickets to the recital, costume fee, and monthly class fee because to me their level of unprofessionalism and disregard for my child was worth leaving over.

I just want to say is customer service is not good.Why? took my 2 little girl one is 11 and other one 3 and half both super excited to go to take ballet clases.I took them to this one beacuse have good reviews and thats Big SIKE!!! And HORRIBLE!!! Experience. Not the teacher because there were super nice! is the management . I think who running the place is the mother of the owner. Not that good representing the place she very rude with my 3 year old that was super excited to take classes tru her out the classe.I was what the heck is going on? She replay very rude like she cannot be here she walking around the classe.what????nope f####this. My wife call and the same reaction in the phone. Not good. Sorry DeLand fl prep dance school not that great. Customers service 2 STARS just because of the teacher very nice.

I danced at Preps Dance for six years and taught/assisted with classes for 3. I definitely recommend this dance studio, as it combines good teaching with the right amount of fun. My dancing skills improved tremendously within one year, and continued after that. I have made life-long connections and developed skills that go further than performance. Preps is more involved with the community, and does performances at more venues than any other studio I experienced in or around DeLand. Being a company member of Preps was one of the best decisions I ever made.

Preps Dance is like our 2nd family- 5 days at dance is not enough! The professionalism and high standards of the faculty translates into advanced technical training and exceptional choreography by director Miss Lyndsay. The option for recreational as well as competitive tracks means there is something for everyone. It's such an honor to be affiliated with such an exceptional school and company. We LOVE Preps!!!

My girls have been dancing with Preps for 5 years and it is a second home. The director is dedicated to making sure the dancers always look the BEST they possibly can on stage. She puts in long hours and sacrifices her time. We are so grateful for her love and support of all our children!
