As gymnastics grandpa I’m here faithfully every week with Anaya Harper. For over a year now we’ve been coming to Bayside Sports Academy and I have seen amazing things. First off I want to give the staff here a tremendous shout out. They BELIEVE in these girls BIG TIME and surround them to build them up. We had an incident a couple of months ago when my Pumpkin wore her new two piece leotard that she was super excited to wear. Then a girl said something about it and she was so uncomfortable she had to put a T-shirt on well when the staff got wind of that several came up to Anaya praising how cool she looked and wanted her to wear it the following week, which she did while the coaches all commented how good she looked. They did in front of the other girls giving Anaya the confidence to wear it proudly. As I was sitting here tonight Anaya was doing pullovers like it was nothing no big deal smiling at me after every one. We are living our commitment to gymnastics which is paying big dividends with not only confidence but some serious upper body strength

We took our first two classes which we were told were both free trials. Later they said there was only one trial. The teacher of the adult class literally admitted to having no gymnastic experience at all. Overall it felt like they threw an adult class together just so they could get some extra tuition money.

My daughter has taken gymnastics class at Bayside since she was 28 months old. The coach are awsome and work with each child on their level. I have watch my daughter improve over the last 4 years. She loves her coach, and wants to do well for her.

I want to thank this place for making me feel so welcome. I had a blast working out here. Excellent facility for gymnastics and tumbling. I am just so pleased by the experience I had. I'm sore as can be today, that's what I get for being out of shape, but will definitely be back.

My son really enjoyed his ballet class (pre ballet, he's 3 years old) so that aspect was great. But there was a lack of organization and professionalism with the administrative team that would make me hesitant to return. It drives me nuts when companies use Groupon but then fail to have a clear policy for it that the whole staff is all aware of, treat you as inferior for using it, or presume that you are going to continue using their services at the full price when it runs out. That's not a given, it's typically something you try to earn with your service, and with the way I was treated at the last visit I'm not excited about continuing to give them my business. Which is a bummer because, as I said, the classes were a lot of fun.

As a parent, I can't say enough good about this place! My kids have been attending classes here for a little over a year, and everyone that we interact with has been positive, supportive, patient, and cool. Their front desk staff continue to make you feel like you're the only one they are dealing with, and their coaches encourage the best in your kids. They celebrate fun and really nurture the best in each kid. I had taken one of my daughters to another gymnastics place in St. Pete and always felt like an outsider. At that place, make-ups and scheduling were inflexible, the dress code was tremendously rigid, the staff were cold and not helpful, and it seemed like "team" was the only activity that was celebrated. Additionally, the waiting area at the previous place was very cozy. At Bayside, there's tons of space to spread out, and they do everything humanly possible to work with each family's needs.

Cheer program was very misleading. Switching Coaches and Directors during season. Adding more fees and had no direction or leadership. Just a big disappointment and was actually told by owner if we were looking for a real cheer program that we we're at the wrong place.

Lots of variety in classes. Lots of equipment. They keep up with remodeling as necessary and do a great job with spotting and preventing injury for the little ones. They do a good job with hiring nice coaches. Probabl not the most competitive though.

Been bringing my daughter to Bayside for more than 7 years. Our first class was Mommy and me type of class when she was 2. Having her 9th birthday party there today. Never had a bad experience. Highly recommended!

This place is great for gymnasts. If you're looking to get into competitive cheerleading, I'd probably look around. Cheer takes a backseat to gymnastics for sure.

OK facility, but very disorganized. My kids were there for summer camp and they did not even acknowledge us walking in one day. I left my 2 kids in a room with over 100 children and only two teenage girls watching them. They didn't even know my kids were there! For the last hour of the day the children sat in a room on a concrete floor watching the same movie over and over. My kids did not enjoy it at all!

My daughter gets so excited when I say," Let's get ready for gymnastics." Her teacher always has a smile on her face and is always super nice. I love watching her play. Going on the balance beam and trying to do a somersault. I will continue to come here with my daughter. I don’t ever see us not coming in on gymnastic days.

I just took my daughter to her first class for toddlers. She had a blast! I was so impressed by our coach, Cierra. She was amazing. Actually, everyone was very polite and professional, including the front desk. I was so pleased that I signed up for weekly classes, and I think that this positive connection with BSA will benefit my daughter.

Great staff and love that each class is not filled with too many kids. This is the kids that are there get more one on one with instructor.
