My daughter and son both go to Kicks Academy of Dance. It is an extremely organized, top notch studio, and a great dance family to be a part of. They offer many different types of classes including tap, jazz, ballet, contemporary, hip hop for girls and boys, and theater just to name a few. Highly recommend this dance studio for an amazing dance experience. Their summer dance camps are also wonderful. For the past two years, my daughter even had the opportunity to dance at Hershey Park!

Both of my daughters have been dancing for this studio since they were 3 years old. We are going on almost 10 years, and I have never felt the need to look elsewhere because Kicks Academy of Dance is the whole package! They have talented and caring dance teachers who have helped my daughters to progress in both technique and presentation while maintaining a fun and safe atmosphere. They have a wonderful administrative staff that communicates early and often - a necessity when trying to figure out schedules, carpools, etc. Kicks fosters an inclusive environment and truly believes that there is a dancer in all of us! They structure classes to allow even the youngest dancers to be able to learn an entire routine while allowing those that want to pursue dance full-time to take advantage of the many opportunities to advance and grow in the world of dance. My daughters light up when on stage, and the best thing that Kicks has done is providing them that confidence and self-esteem to shine! Kicks is on the forefront of the dance world, but maintains a strong philosophy in learning the "fundamentals." That is so important to give dancers that background, and very much appreciated by parents who believe in that philosophy also. We are fortunate to have found Kicks and are grateful to be a part of the Kicks family! You won't find a more organized, talented, or accepting studio than Kicks!

My daughter will be starting her eighth year dancing at Kicks and it’s her favorite place to be! She has grown in to a beautiful dancer. The instructors are so talented and kind and the studio owners and staff are truly wonderful. My daughter is part of the “Company” program and loves competing. The studio doesn’t only teach dance, they teach respect, confidence , kindness , responsibility, it has been nothing but wonderful.

My daughter has been passionately dancing at KICKS for the last 8 years! Though we live a bit of a distance away from the studio...on the other side of Media (she attends the Wallingford-Swarthmore School District), we would never even consider any other dance environment. John and Kristin Davis, co-owners of KICKS are exemplary in every way. Their level of professionalism, expertise, communication with families, understanding & accommodating of a growing family's busy schedules, and ABOVE ALL....genuine heart that they invest on a consistent daily basis are unequal to that of any other studio we have ever known. Miss Cheryl and Miss Sue who work equally hard in making for a flawless dance experience are exceptionally organized and always go out of their way to help dancers and their families. Dancing at KICKS has been the highlight of our daughter's week EVERY week for the past 8 years. ALL of her teachers have been off the charts....their knowledge base, ability to connect with children, enthusiasm, energy, creativity, and continuously keeping abreast with the latest trends in dance make our daughter's end of summer a consistently happy one, knowing her return to KICKS is just around the corner! Kicks is a professionally and also family run organization which ensures all students receive the best experience, learning to love dance while also feeling they are part of a bigger family. Ms Kristin and Mr John teach them how to be ladies, how to behave within a group and when representing a group and how to hold themselves to a high level of expectations both as a dancer and as a friend. They helped to raise our daughter in ways we could not and gave her the freedom to fly while testing her creativity and commitment. She learned about the power of hard work and in investing in what she loves. She is now on the dance team at her University and continues to benefit from her love of dance. Miss Kristin, Mr John, and all of the teachers and staff care about the well being of their dancers both in and out of the dance classroom. When we moved into the area, we had to find a new dance studio for my ambitious nine year daughter. Everyone highly recommended Kicks! From the moment you enter the building, you can feel the warmth of this studio. The staff is friendly, the location is convenient and clean, and the teachers are lovable and talented. This dance studio is extremely organized and runs like a well-oiled machine! I was extremely impressed with the flow in and out of classes. The kids adapt easily to the routine and genuinely enjoy the classes! The price was reasonable and there were no hidden charges or surprises, which was refreshing! When it came time to sit through the recital, my whole entourage... we have a large family.... was in awe of the talent this studio produced! The “company” routines were nothing short of Broadway worthy! Their showpieces were peppered throughout the intricately woven array of routines that flowed seamlessly throughout the presentation. If I had to change anything, it would be finding Kicks a lot sooner!
