The Ridgefield School of Dance is without a doubt a very special 'home away from home' for my two daughters - a cherished second family for sure!! Since the very first visit to the dance studio, we knew immediately that it was the perfect choice for us! Alison was warm and welcoming, which was especially important since we had just moved to Ridgefield, CT from Mason, OH. The teachers are absolutely phenomenal!!! THE BEST OF THE BEST!!! All current or former professional dancers themselves, they truly understand what proper training is, and how to nurture young dancers. They are all incredibly warm and genuine, and treat all of their students with respect and compassion. The ballet curriculum is second to none! It is astounding how much my daughters have progressed and achieved since joining RSD in 2016!! A very special highlight each year is the annual Nutcracker Performance in December, and the Spring Performance in June! Miss Jess's creativity is endless when it comes to bringing a story to life....from Carnival of the Animals, to Madeline, and coming soon....Alice In Wonderland!! It's magic onstage!! We have treasured each and every experience, every class, every teacher, every close friend. RSD is a very special part of my daughters' lives, and we are eternally grateful!!! RSD will be one of the best decision you make for your child :-))

The Ridgefield School of Dance has been a second home for quite a few years now. My daughter has been enjoying her Ballet and Jazz classes, and this year, she has added Lyrical classes. Last Saturday, on top of her busy schedule, she started a 5 week Musical Theater Workshop and had such a fantastic time!! She just can't get enough of dancing! All the teachers are so talented and so wonderful! Every year we look forward to the Spring Recital and The Nutcracker in December. It's always such a joy to watch all those beautiful dancers perform together! We love RSD and could not be happier! Thank you Alison Brown and all the teachers for all you do!

The Ridgefield School of Dance has given me my second family! Having danced at the studio from age 4 until high school graduation, it awarded me countless opportunities and I am honored to have watched it grow into the professional studio it is today. Along with learning different techniques and allowing me to refine my ballet, RSD gave me my confidence, professionalism, and life long friends. The facilities are beautiful, performances top-notch, and teachers unparalleled. I try to come back from college, (where I am receiving my BFA in dance with a concentration in ballet,) whenever I can to give back to the studio that has given me so much. I cannot recommend RSD enough for anyone, regardless of age or level.

The Ridgefield School of Dance is more than a dance studio. My girls consider it a second home. It’s a safe place to have fun with friends and work on something they love. Allison is the caring shepherd keeping students and parents moving in the right direction. Jess is a focused hand who doesn’t allow the girls to be satisfied with “good enough.” Ms. Irene is a magician getting the youngest of dancers to focus, learn and enjoy dance. Michael, Julia and the other instructors set a fine example of what is expected of high level performers. We have since moved and certainly count The Ridgefield School of Dance as one of the things we miss most after leaving. I can tell you from personal experience; finding a studio with this special character is very difficult.
