Summit Dance Works is THE BEST dance studio in Colorado Springs! My daughter has been taking dance classes there for the past 5 years and has loved every class! All the teachers at Summit are extraordinarily talented and have an amazing way to nurture and teach dancers not only good techniques, but how to dance with all their hearts! The teachers truly care about each and every student that walks in the doors and provide a safe and positive climate for dancers and parents alike. If you're looking for a studio that encompasses many genres of dance and fantastic instructors, Summit Dance Works is your place!

We have been part of this studio for almost 6 years. We now have 2 daughters who dance there (9 and 6) and we will soon add our 3 daughter into the mommy and me class! My daughters absolutely love everything about it. The teachers instill hard work, fundamentals and inspire each kiddo to be the best they can be. The other dancers make the studio so much fun to be a part of! I would recommend it to anyone with kids of any age!

I have been very dissatisfied with this school. My daughter loves her teacher as do I but that is the only thing it has going for it. The facility is very dirty, there is no structure as far as the kids go in building. They are allowed to run freely not only by there parents but by the staff as well, which in my opinion is very dangerous!! The fees for the recitals and the tickets are OUTRAGEOUS never have I been to recitals that cost as much as these do!! When you ask some staff not all a quration or call they arw rude, we will not be returning after the spring recital...

My daughter loves dancing at Summit Dance Works! She loves all of the teachers and dancers. They offer a wide variety of classes for beginners and for those who have danced for years! I would absolutely recommend this dance studio to those looking for a fun place for their child to dance, you won't be disappointed!

Summit has been a 2nd home to my daughter for the last 4 years. She has made a lot of friends, taken her skills to a higher level and has amazing teachers. The teachers know when to push and when to let the kids push themselves. They use a variety of incentives to keep the kids striving for their best.

I can say that I highly recommend Summit Dance Works. From their recreational program to their competition program, there's a place for all children and parents to feel welcome and excel. With 8 years of dance mom experience behind me, I can also say that getting started at the right dance studio is so important. Your child might start out taking a single 1-hour combo class and — before you know it — they can be competing and taking several hours of dance every week. Through this evolution, it’s important to be getting the right training in an environment where they can develop the proper dance skills & technique and thrive. This is what SDW offers and why our family is part of this studio!

Well where do I begin? This place is appalling in my opinion. I took my 6 year old daughter here and on her FIRST ever ballet lesson she was treated so very poorly by the teacher. After the lesson the teacher proceeded to take her hand and bring her directly to me. When I asked how she did the teacher replied "Alright I guess". The teacher seemed annoyed. When I walked up to the reception desk to receive the refund of the enrollment fee like I was promised and to schedule her next lesson I saw the teacher there speaking with the lady working. She then proceeded to ask me, in front of my daughter "Does SHE have a disability!?" I responded well, yes she is blind in her left eye but this has NEVER been a problem in gymnastics nor her schooling. The teacher says "Ok, ok, I wish someone had told me" like it was a problem and she needed to be informed. I have never been questioned by her gymnastics or school about this impairment. Very disgusting and unprofessional. Apparently this company doesn't know how to treat children. Needless to say I've been asking for a refund for months now and was lied to saying it was send to my house. Still haven't received it. NEVER recommending this place to anyone.

We have been going to SDW for over 4 years now. This is the first place that our daughter has completely loved and committed all of herself too! We have seen how she has grown and developed confidence at Summit, and continues to push herself and wants to be one of the best! She's made so many friends and loves being part of a great family! Unlike most places we have been too or have heard about, Summit fosters an environment of complete support and camaraderie. The girls look out for and support each other, while the teachers foster discipline and respect! My daughter even talked me into joining a Dad's and a Daddy/Daughter's class for competition this year, and I was a bit reluctant at first. But I did, and I have to admit that this has been such a great time and experience for me, and its just so much fun and it also builds relationships with the other dance families! And one of the other great things Summit offers off the floor, are definitely opportunities and fun activities to get families together throughout the year! Its a great growing dance company!

Summit Dance Works is a premier studio. I have four daughters that have grown up dancing. This is our third studio and Summit Dance Works has been a second home for my girls since 2005. Summit has amazing teachers and opportunities for dancers of all ages and abilities. It is a safe and friendly environment that has taught my girls dedication, team work, time management, and has helped them build confidence. My daughter has been at Summit for over a year now. She has made wonderful friends, loves all her teachers, and has grown so much as a dancer! She looks forward to dancing every day! My son took the boy's hip hop class last year and liked it so much that he expanded his classes this year and is also there every day. The teachers at Summit really invest their hearts into each student who walks through the door and helps them be the very best dancers and kids that they can be. Beyond the pliés and cramp rolls, my kids have learned how to be part of a team, the importance of commitment and to work hard every day. I love knowing that they have a place to go where they can be active, are surrounded by positive role models, and have so much fun! Summit is more than just great dancing... We are a family.

What is the biggest turn off for any consumer? Billing issues!! You are required to supply bank information upon class registration for auto payments. You CAN avoid auto drafted payments by paying tuition before due date. However, they add on other fees (recital, costume, etc) throughout the year to your account. These fees are typically auto drafted from your account. On more than one occasion, they have taken what they want, when they want, leaving my bank account drained! These poor accounting tactics leave me frustrated with management. Unless, financially, you are able to pay for EVERYTHING upfront, trusting them with your bank account is not recommended!

My 12 year old daughter has been at the studio for 3 years. She has been dancing since she was 3 off and on at other studio's. No studio felt like home to her until she came here. Summit Dance Works is her home away from home and I have seen her grow so much and learn the right way to dance. If you want to learn the right technique and the love of dance I would highly recommend Summit Dance Works.

They really care about our kids and want them to be the best they can be. We also have a very supportive group of parents. I can't imagine having my daughter dance anywhere else.
