My daughters have been taking dance from Ms. Giselle Workman for almost 7 years. Since signing up for classes at the studio, we have found the classes to be educational and disciplined, yet fun. The instructors are well-experienced and provide thorough instruction. We all learn something in every class. Exceptional in the way students and their parents are welcomed, we feel that Step It Up is a very friendly environment, where we feel like family with the other students and their families. Pricing is very reasonable, too!

Shake Bake

I've been involved on and off with this studio for what feels like my whole life. I danced there for many years 10+. I've worked closely with Giselle, the studio director on various projects from substituting a few classes to recording auditions to most recently designing and constructing all of the props for the latest performance. I have taken classes elsewhere as required by my school at the time and immediately noticed Step It Up was different from other studios in a variety of ways like organization, values, communication, respectful team players ect. There are so many opportunities there other than dance which I love. I've been able to expand in all artistic avenues and I feel like I'm part of a family there. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that wants a more hands-on experience and values a more personal relationship with your instructors and peers. A place you can grow that is affordable.

Finding Starbound Academy was a blessing for my daughter and our family. She has blossomed in the last couple of months with confidence and independence. At first I didn’t believe there was a place that had it all. Dance, cheer, gymnastics, voice lessons, acting, modeling, and pageantry. It exists and they do it well. All their instructors .take it to another level. They also really care about kids. Starbound Academy is our home away from home. We have done several fashion shows and going to Disney in March!

The owner really gets to know each kid and tries to work with their talents, while building well rounded performers. This isn't just a dance, music or theater studio. Its a place where kids can really be encouraged to perform on all fronts.

This place does not have finished walls or even Real dance coaches/Teachers.I signed my daughter up but took her out because.The owner would cancel classes and my daughter was barley even dancing like she wanted to.

This is a great performing arts studio. There are a variety of classes available at a very affordable price. My kids were here almost 3 years and love all the different classes and instructors. There are mostly evening classes, some weekend classes and summer camps too.
