My husband and I had been looking around for YEARS to find a good place to take Salsa lessons in the Denver area after moving from Phoenix where good Salsa classes are abundant. We tried various studios and teachers with no success until we took classes from Erik and several other Salsaville instructors. What kept us coming back was the fact that Erik and his instructors are top notch and really know their stuff. But most importantly, they teach you how to translate moves into combinations that work in any situation!

I started taking Eric's dance classes at the Cherry Creek dance studio. The group class was a pretty cool experience for me, and I had no problems receiving attention when it came to clarifying techniques or steps. It doesn't matter if you are a single or a couple, as everybody rotates partners. I wanted to accelerate my learning, so I have taken private dance lessons with Eric and his assistants. He pays a lot of attention to the technicalities of Salsa dancing, and I am glad that I took the private lessons, because there is a whole technical dimension to Salsa dancing that I wouldn't have learnt in a group class! Overall, the experience is fun, the class atmosphere is relaxed, and you are made to feel comfortable. I do hope that with greater publicity, he can start higher level salsa classes in Denver soon!

I've recently had the pleasure of taking Salsa class with Eric. I found his class to be informative, fun and upbeat. He has a great sense of humour making new students feel welcome and returning students feel a part of the dance community. Eric has a teaching style which engages and challenges the student constructively at every level. He is enthusiastic about Latin Dance and eager to share his knowledge and skill with all. Eric takes time for individual instruction as much as time will allow during each class. If you are seeking further instruction or honing your new skill, I recommend private lessons, money and time well spent. Salsaville is the place to be for having fun and being a part of a dance community while learning Latin Dance from one of the best!

My motto in life is: If it's not fun, I'm done. Rarely have I had as much fun as I have in Eric's classes. I've been a student for over a year now, and I'm hooked. Eric's passion and expertise, his great sense of humor, his exciting patterns, and his focus on repetition really enable us to grow and improve as dancers while having a blast doing itI Eric is very invested in his students reaching their full potential, and he always keeps it new and interesting. It's been very rewarding to watch my dancing improve month after month and to be able to follow complex routines with a variety of different partners at the clubs. I've also enjoyed going through classes together with the same group of people who have become like a family to me! I cannot recommend these classes highly enough. In my opinion, Eric is one of the greatest Salsa instructors in Denver.

Great instructors! I've really enjoyed going the past few months.

When your teenage son asks you to go dancing- you go! We had a great time and plan on taking the next level for sure.

If you've ever wanted to learn salsa but didn't know where to start, look no further. No previous dance experience necessary, sign up as a couple, sign up with your best friend to try something new, or do as I did, and sign up as a single. I started with level 1 and continued each month until I had completed all 4 levels. I can't tell you how much information is imparted to you at each level. You get plenty of practice time during class, the instructors are great at giving personal attention to each dancer. I even experienced compliments when I did well, it wasn't all critiques. I gained a lot of confidence learning the basics. Going through this experience with the same group of people for 4 months was exciting. Just to see how nervous and tentative everyone was in the beginning, to actually see the joy in their faces, and hear their laughter as they were able to execute dance moves. I remember a beginning class coming in to watch the end of our class and thinking to myself, that in just 3 months, they'd be executing the same moves. The look of awe on their faces was a sight to see. I continued taking the advanced classes in Boulder, and then took a beginning Cuban style salsa class in June. After taking that class for 6 months, I've decided to join Eric Freeman and a small group of dancers on a dance trip to Cuba. I started my journey in January 2015. A year later, January 2016, I am ready to go on a trip of a lifetime.

I went for salsa dance classes for beginners and had a fun time. Eric, the instructor, is great! He is probably the best salsa teacher in the world. Highly recommend!

I've really enjoyed the classes at the Denver location! Julie is fantastic, and can teach a wide variety of people. I've been through Levels 1 and 2 and am going on through Level 3. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to refresh what they already know or want to learn. Price is fair per person.

Wanted to thank Eric Freeman for such a helpful private lesson. It was well worth the drive from Denver to Boulder to meet with Eric in his studio. I have been dancing Cuban Salsa for 4 years with excellent instruction mostly in San Francisco where I live. After a first dance with Eric I received insightful feedback. Over the next 90 minutes we worked on a few key points to help me improve and clean up some not so good habits. I've worked with some wonderful teachers and Eric is among the best. I highly recommend and encourage anyone thinking of taking one or a few private lessons to do so. Classes are fun, but private lessons are golden. Thank you very much Eric!

This is my First Salsa Dance Class Experience! And I LOVE IT! I tried going to the night clubs to learn, only to find myself "lost and embarrassed!" I found a Living Social deal online and bought it as a Fathers Day Gift to my Boyfriend (So we could learn together). The Salsaville instructors have taught us step-by-step how to do the Salsa and they are TERRIFIC DANCERS & TEACHERS! It is a Fast,Fun Hour of a class/date night :-) ! I highly recommend starting in LEVEL 1 and then you won't want to STOP DANCING! LEVEL 3 here we come!

I liked Eric's class very much. I've been dancing for several years but felt I had plateaued. I took his Level 3 and 4 classes hoping to get me get to the next level. His teaching style was perfect for me, and the dance steps I learned were exactly what I was looking for. His approach to teaching the steps was methodical yet flexible with a serious emphasis on the musicality. I found the structure of the classes extremely helpful as each series of moves in each week's lesson always built upon the previous one. However, I never felt that he was teaching a linear sequence of moves that I couldn't change on the fly-he taught options and variations, and I loved that! He recognized the areas that needed tweaking or changing and offered suggestions for me to work on each week. This sometimes meant a subtle hand position during a turn or a rhythmic adjustment in my footwork. He thoroughly delivered! I highly recommend any of his classes. Give him a call! Thanks again Eric!

Dancing makes me happy! I had been looking for salsa classes with an instructor who is not only passionate about teaching (most dance instructors love what they do) but one who has the ability to break down the techniques so they are easy to understand and implement. Eric is one of those instructors; passionate, patient, knowledgeable and teaches in a logical format. Salsaville studios offer great floors and a full wall of mirrors so students can watch their new moves. I finally found what I've been looking for in dance instruction. I'll take classes from Eric as long as he's teaching.

I received a present from my girlfriend to begin Salsa classes at Salsaville Cherry Creek. I didn't know what to expect but thought it would be a good time for just "us". We have been taking salsa lessons over the last few months. We have continued through to level 2 and now 3. Yes, and I know that means an additional several weeks of salsa classes!! We connected with Salsaville Cherry Creek through LivingSocial, and have since signed on for more classes, the cost is super cheap for the kind of one-on-one attention you receive in a group class. Julie is thorough in her teaching and takes the time to show you one-on-one. If you come to class and practice a little - you'll learn the steps. The pace is perfect for us. We stayed after for a sneak peak on what to expect in the advanced class, and we got super excited. Not all of the people in class are couples - so don't fear if you're single. It's a really fun atmosphere and would recommend it to anyone (especially living in Denver, as salsa seems to be everywhere!). Now we get there early and hang out with some of the other Salsa students for food and drinks before class... what a BLAST
