It seems in an attempt to bury my wife's truthful review of how bad this studio is, the owner must have had all of the dancers go in and put 5 star reviews. Which is fine, if you're happy with a service, give it a good review. The troubling thing is, some of these were posted as parents. One of the names from this review from a "parent" is the name of one of the young students who is not a parent. So it appears she had her dancers go in and lie. That is the kind morals she is teaching young children. Shameful! Our experience at the studio was awful and Krista treated my family horribly. I'm not sure how she stays in business. Also she likes to take down bad reviews so check sources other than Google because they make it easy to take down.

My daughter used to attend KMDA. We no longer want to be a part of this company. We are unhappy with the way that Miss, Allen ran the classes. Our daughter never once had any kind of one on one with Miss, Allen. We were mislead, on how the classes were going to be ran. Miss Allen at first made us feel like she was going to be very involved with the younger group of kids. The young teachers who taught my daughter were amazing with her and with what they did. Unfortunately we thought that at some point our daughter would be evaluated by Miss Allen, and would be told how and when she would be able to start training to compete. Our daughter was never taught nor even been spoken to by Miss Allen during either class. We are very involved parents and felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. We gave Miss Allen the benefit of the doubt. My daughter had been attending KMDA for 3 months. To us, our daughter should have been shown some kind of attention from Miss Allen. But was not given any at all. I doubt Miss Allen even knew my daughters name. She sure didn't know ours!

My child has a blast here. She says it is her second home. The staff has treated us nothing but with respect. They have been so kind to us. They give us opportunities that we could not have gotten doing anything else. Krista has helped us through rough times. Also the training is remarkable. My daughter does not have a pigeon toe any more. She treats all the kids with respect. And all there prices are fair. And the shows are make you speechless. They are well put together. They light up your world. My child has never been happier. Our experience has been nothing but a trip to Hawaii. So if you are looking for a dance studio go here. The staff is so respectful and your child will have a blast.

Performing w Kmda was one of the best experiences I've ever had. I've worked w a lot of choreographers and Ms Krista Allen by far is the best to work with. I learned so much about myself as a performer from her. She was patient, kind, very professional and good at giving direction and explaining things step by step. The studio is beautiful. Plenty of space! The kids who danced w me are all super talented and amazing! I am honored and happy to have danced w the kids of kmda. Ms Krista teaches w passion. At first thought this place was great monthly prices not bad at all than they charged my credit card without my permission for my daughter shirt for show . Than for her recital she didn't go on till almost 9pm when show started at 6pm with her being 3yrs old that was organized very poorly toddlers were tired forgot there routine waiting so long. Paid $75 for two tickets and my daughter was on stage for less than five mins. There theme of recital talked alot about death and was dark for children to be watching. Wrote a letter asked to be contacted once received to withdrawal my daughter. Never received call or email my husband called got hung up .My husband finally received a call from instructor who left a voice mail with attitude. If you want to run a professional establishment remain professional...

Very impressed with how much my daughter has grown. She’s created many friends and I’ve seen so much improvement in them as well! The choreography is very impressive and makes me want to dance! Everybody there is so welcoming and nice! Highly recommend!!!

I walked up to check out the school and who ever was running the program was extremely rude to me. She requested I leave the premises based on some radical baseless assumptions. As a dancer and alternative wellness practitioner/energy worker I find this kind of conduct unprofessional and offensive. Way to turn off potential interested students and dancers who share akin philosophies. I see that the other reviews are mostly positive so perhaps it was just unlucky, but the comments implied by the host were flat out rude and offensive. I hope they learn not to treat people looking at the school this way.

My child fell victim to bullies at school. This is a situation a parent never wants their child to endure. We enrolled him in KMDA in hopes to boost his confidence through his love of dance. The amount of love and support from not only the staff, but the other children has had a life changing effect on my child. Moving forward , a young girl entered into my son's classes. This girl attacked my child and two of his peers by stomping with her heal on their toes. I'm forever grateful on how quickly the staff handled the situation. A few short days later the child bullied another peer in a separate class . The child was then suspended. After the parent's outburst at the studio, the family was expelled. Now the parents are harassing these wonderful people. This solidifies that this family has very deep rooted issues. KMDA is a safe space for children to grow whilst under some of the best training I've seen. I have the upmost respect for all they do for our community. Thank you KMDA.

I love KMDA so much! Everyone here is so supportive and the environment is so great. Coming to dance makes me feel so happy and it's become my second home. Ms. Krista and Mr. Sam are amazing coaches and they truly care for all of us. I don't know what I would do without dance, it's so much fun to train here! I've been able to become more confident too. I would really recommend bringing your child to KMDA, they'll absolutely love it!!

I have been and seen everything that has happened in this studio since its been open, there have been many hardships but these beautiful souls pull through it every time on top. If you are looking for a long term hard working family this is the place to go. Personally I can say I have never danced before this studio, and now i'm going places and doing things I never thought I would do. If I could show a before and after video of everyone who has danced here you would be amazed of how far they have improved. Most of this is because of the most amazing person in the world, and the owner Krista Allen. She is the glue to this place, I am so grateful she always has faith in us and never stops pushing us to do our best. This is the woman who HAS changed the world one dancer at a time. After you have read all this I hope you make the right decision and go to this amazing place.

Even went on company all thanks to her amazing teacher Ms.Krista.She is teaching these kids accountability and responsibility.BIG impact on her life she is a young women. She has done all she can do to help my daughter stay there. Her payments are always fair never ever overpriced.My daughter has been dancing there for three years now and she loves it. She is so thankful for being able to dance with her couches and teachers. The students are very committed as evidenced by the quality and continued improvement in each of their dancing abilities. Krista Allen is obviously an excellent teacher, choreographer, and mentor to all levels of students attending classes at the studio. KMDA provides a wonderful service to the community.

I am a former student/ instructor at Kinetic Movement Dance Academy I give this place 5 stars because Krista Allen the owner and instructor is amazing and very talented at what she dose she puts all her time and energy into this amazing studio to make it not just a studio but a home a place where people can go to Express themselves and just forget about life and just live and yet still take the time to teach and and help every student succeed in dance always with positive energy I dislike the fact that Majesta Ramirez treated miss Krista and my self because her daughter didn't get one on one help so she started bashing the studio and my self saying unreal and unnecessary things and making a big spiel about how I shouldn't be teaching because I'm to young I've been with miss Krista since I was 5 and now I'll be 18 she's thought me a long time and now all that hard work I put in pays off and now I'm teaching a hiphop class for elementary students I love this studio it is my home and I love all the Kmda family we have here I also respect and love miss Krista Allen for being my teacher my friend my role model ect thank you for everything you do

It seemed wonderful at first but the more I took my granddaughter there the more I felt this studio seemed like it was out to make money. Parents are not allowed in the room which seemed odd to me. The reason was kids feel uncomfortable being watched yet they were about to put on a showcase just a month away. They let parents in the room at the end of class to video but that was only for parents who kids were in the showcase so they could focus on what they should practice. It was like you had to pay so see your own child dance!!! Not to mention all the fees and some were even "mandatory" for showcase participation. My granddaughter loves to dance however the right fit for her is most important and this was not it!!!

We took our daughter here once, for kids dance. The instructors and helpers tried to get my daughter to participate (she's 3) but it was new for her and she was shy. They seemed really nice and let her attend the first class for free to see if she'd like it. We haven't returned, but only because of other events preventing us. We plan to sign her up in the future when our schedule calms down. Their prices seem very fair for some structured "energy release".

From a perspective of both a mother of a junior dancer, and also been apart of some KMDA's shows and comp's myself since the year KMDA was brought to life, feel that this studio is none other but a second home to anyone who chooses to walk through the doors. The instant vibe you get is amazingly unexplainable and whether you're two or ninety two, this place is filled with encouragement and growth. Ive never seen or heard of Ms. Krista Allen or even her dance teachers/t.a's shone anyone away. My daughter has danced here for 3+ yrs and has not only grown as a dancer in these short three yrs but has learned that she can go to the 'family' of KMDA for support and security. Not only is there a strong structure here for every student to depend upon but the shows and competitions are unforgettable every season. I have been backstage for most of them to help out, and Krista Allen does a beautiful job from prepping the students with a motivational talk before every showcase down to a short event and putting together pieces and showcases with very little help. She has so much talent and love to give, these students are her life and she was born to do it with a natural ability. I am blessed to have my eight yr old a part of such a wonderful studio, who enjoys going here almost every day and always leaves inspired and ready to return with what she is working on. She has made close friends with students her age, as well as the advanced dancers whom she looks up to and is encouraged by constantly through dance in and out of the studio.

My daughter loves KMDA and she has become more responsible and disciplined. This dance studio is so different from others and it's so unique and the staff truly loves every student. Krista always makes sure to keep us parents notified about everything and the app keeps me up to date with my child's schedule, not only that, but the prices are fair too. The shows/recitals are absolutely amazing! If your child wants to dance, you should take them to KMDA, they offer training for hip hop, breaking, ballet, acro, and so many more.

Kinetic Movement Dance Academy is far more than just a place that teaches dance, BUT they do that exceptionally! They teach manners, MORALS, love for your family, respect, love of self. They encourage the kids to uplift not just each other, but other dance teams and groups. They offer scholarships, which I have not seen many studios do. They have awards on every wall of the studio, ranging from local to international. They do teach the fundamentals of hip hop, along with many other styles such as hula, jazz, etc. If you want your child to learn from down to earth and humble teachers, this is the place to go.

My daughter has been dancing at KMDA for 4 years. From being at KMDA she has grown and learned so many things past dance. She’s become more confident and outgoing due to the wonderful instructor/owner Krista Allen. KMDA is a very welcoming loving place. If I could give this place more than 5 stars I definitely would. They teach more than just dance here, your child will definitely bloom into a lovely confident human being. I definitely recommend KMDA.
