I have 2 daughters that attend Gayton Dance. 1 for 15 years and the other for 12 years. They have a wonderful and professional staff. Their teaching has prepared my oldest daughter to be accepted to the BFA Dance School program at the University of Colorado Boulder and AMDA College and Conservatory of Performing Arts in Los Angeles.

My sister and I danced at Gayton years ago. When my son said he wanted to try hip hop, I knew where I was going to enroll him. He learned quickly and moved up quickly. This is all because of his amazing instructors. They all know him by name and treat him like family. We love the Gaytons, they will always be a part of our family!

I called and left a voicemail and never got a call back. Called again and was told an instructor would call me with more information and I am yet to get a call back. All I can say is that they have no sense of what customer service is at all. Very disappointed

I had my son in breakdancing and he loved it. Teacher was so encouraging and great with the kids. However,my son was in dance for two years and the owners and front desk never knew his name. I felt they acknowledged the other dance groups more, especially the girls. They seemed to always know the girls names. I always felt my son wasn't important to them. When it came to performances ALL other dance groups had Cool costumes yet the B boys ALWAYS wore a T Shirt? PLUS they would always perform one song when the others did more. Definitely favortisim going on. I kept my son in cause he liked it, and like I said his teacher was great. But now I got an email stating they ate canceling breakdancing all together due to low enrolment. I would have appreciated a call? But I guess they never cared about the B boys.

Extremely unprofessional. I was told BY THE OWNER the dates of registration. She told me WRONG!!!! I tried repeatedly to get in touch with them to fix this, said I would gladly show them the email I have with the wrong dates. I was told registration lasted until Thursday and apparently it ended Wednesday, we showed up on Thursday to a locked place. I called and left messages and emailed a few times and never received a reply. In fact, they changed their voicemail to say that they will not call anyone back about registration. I understand if I made this mistake, but it was their mistake and they refused to address it. Because we were planning on going to Gayton, she missed the other dance schools enrollment as well, so now my 8 year old is left without a dance class. When I spoke with them, they seemed great but I guess I'm glad I'm figuring this out now before I wasted my time or money with people who truly don't care about the children THEY are affecting. My daughter is truly disappointed. What a shame of a dancing school. Own up to your own mistakes. I should've read the reviews before I even bothered with them. I wonder how many family members they can get to give 5 star reviews to combat the real reviews?

This dance studio is amazing! Growing up this was my second home, Robin & Jody are amazing instructors and have divoted their lives to making their studio one of a kind. Once I found out I was pregnant with my daughter I knew there was No way I would take her anywhere else. I Highly recommend them anyone!

The owner's were terrible with the students. Negative reinforcement was used consistently. The "costumes" which were leggings and a tank were $90, plus a set fee. The performances were not done at the venue which parents paid an additional fee for. After the performance was rescheduled (on mother's day) no explanation or fee was refunded. I would not recommend this studio.

I have grown up at Gayton and I absolutely love going to practice everyday, I love the girls I have grown up with. The studio feels like another home to me. Jody and Robin have made the studio a loving and caring environment, and they love each and every student and family that walks into the door. I couldn't be more proud of where I dance and where I have grown up at.

I truly so recommend this place, I started this year, in Jazz and Turns/leaps/extensions and I LOVE IT!! I went in there feeling insecure and shy but all of the teachers were really nice and very helpful with everything I needed.

My daughter has been dancing here for 9 years and we love it. The instruction is top notch and the owners treat you like family! The performances are always fantastic. I would highly recommend this dance studio.

My daughter went to this studio for a couple years. I thought they were great in the beginning but this past year they really went down hill. If you can't afford to put your kid in more then one class don't bother. They clearly have favorites and those favorites are the ones with the big bank account to support them. My daughter was there for four years and this last recital was the last straw. The "help" they had backstage singled out my daughter about her hair, making her put it up in a bun when there were other girls in her class that had ponytails. (I have video to prove it) Which was what I was told at the parent meeting they wanted for the show. Proceeded to cuss at my daughter. NOT ok. Total lack of professionalism. I have paid way too much money over the years to have my daughter treated that way.

DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE!! I danced here when I was young, was part of the company and took 3-4 classes a day. I will forever have body image issues and distrust in people because of them. Very unprofessional and don’t want what’s best for your children. If you’re not a “favorite” just forget it move on with your life. I promise you your child will not be treated good, and will be put down constantly. Dance is a harsh world but doesn’t have to be at the extent these people have it. The best decision in my life was to change studios when I was 16. I learned more than they could ever offer and ended up doing great things.
