Love this place! Recitals are optional, so if they do not fit your schedule, DO NOT sign up for them. Music is chosen months before recitals, if you are not happy with choices then voice concerns then. They are so awesome that I know they will work with you and parents concerns. A+++ for Allana's studio

We are so happy to call AAD home! They teach a well rounded program with all the fundamentals & current dance. They really take great care of their dancers! We were so disappointed. My girl is young and you would think that the owners and instructors would keep in mind that when doing a performance that 3 hours during dinner time on Fathers Day with NO intermission in a hot theater is not a very good idea. We were asked to be at the theater an hour before show time so all in all with our 5 year old, we were there for 4 hours on Fathers Day (3p-7p). We brought my elderly grandmother (88 years old) and there were a total of 50 dances, we were dance #36, so all these 4-5 year olds had to wait at least 2 1/2 hours before they even got a chance to perform. This time was hard for myself and my husband but was terribly brutal on my grandmother and all the other families that had little children under the age of 6 years old. My daughter had to sit in my lap that ENTIRE time until they called her up for her dance. What a shame, we had looked forward to having such a nice performance, especially since it was on Fathers Day (what torture for any father or mother or friend or sibling to have to sit through) and every time I think back on that day it still makes me mad, hence the reason I am writing this review now, because I still boil every time I think about it. We will NEVER be back to Allana's....her studio is not a good environment for young children!

I love Allana's Academy of Dance! I've been dancing there since probably a year and a half & I've loved it so much! I was trying other dance studio's and none of them compared! Everyone in that studio makes you feel so welcome! The dance teachers are so nice and they truly want us to improve and have a amazing time! I've improved so much in the last year and half and can't wait to improve some more! I've made really close dance friends and got really close to every teacher! :)

Allana doesn’t just run a business, she has made a home for all of her students. Even through difficult times, Allana has stood by us and our children, she has bent over backwards to help us. I've been dancing here for about 7 years and I still love it to this day. I am on the competition team and it just makes the experience even more magical! The teachers are all so nice and encouraging. The end of the year recitals are so fun! But the competitions are even more fun! Everyone is so nice! Miss Cassandra and Miss Allana are the best teachers there!

LOVE Allana's! We started last year in the Twinkle Babies class. We felt welcome from the second we walked in. Everyone was very kind. They made my daughter feel included from the very start. Allana was patient and kind with all the students and was great at connecting with a room full of toddlers.. You can see her passion for not only dance but for kids and teaching. She is not only a great teacher but an even better person. My daughter truly does look up to her and the other teachers. My daughter loves attending dance at Allana's. Whenever an issue has arose it was dealt with quickly and professionally. Between Allana and her parents (who work closely with the studios) there has never been a time that we were unable to reach someone. Truly great people! We are so happy we found a studio that has amazing teachers, students and staff. There are MANY opportunities for all skill levels. This is not the first studio we have tried but this is the first one we feel awesome about staying with. We are excited to see our kids grow as dancers and develop life long relationships. Both of our daughters will be attending Allana's this fall. We are very excited to have such a healthy and exciting learning environment for our girls.

My daughter joined the competition team this season, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. She absolutely LOVES all of her instructors, especially Ms. Allana! They have all welcomed us into their dance family with open arms, and made us feel right at home. My daughter has grown SO much as a dancer and as an individual in the 7 or so months we have been at AAD, and I couldn’t be more proud! If you are looking for a nurturing and loving environment that will help your child excel, AAD is the place for you!

My daughter has been with Allana for 3 years and started dancing when she was 2. We love Allana! For us it has become a second home because it's a family. The love and care that Allana, and all the other instructors she hires, pours into every dancer that walks in the door is nothing short of amazing. They genuinely care about their dancers. My daughter has blossomed into a confident young lady who loves dance. Allana has continually challenged her, but has done so in such a way that my daughter has only felt loved. We love this studio and can't imagine being any where else.

We started taking dance from AAD a few years ago and have been extremely happy with our experience. We had one daughter in regular classes and one daughter has been a part of the competition team. Allana and her staff are not only fabulous instructors, but they truly care for your children and treat them as if they are family. I love the fact that they provide an atmosphere that allows your child to flourish and I love that they have zero tolerance for any "mean girl" or in some cases "mean dance parent" activity. AAD prides themselves with being one of the friendliest studios in town and have won awards to prove so. I would recommend Allana's Academy of Dance to anyone in a heartbeat!

I have to say that I am very unimpressed. My daughter has been dancing since she was 3 and is now 11. She was an Irish Step Dancer which she excelled at. She wanted to try something new, so we tried the hip hop class. Right off the bat I was pretty disappointed. Young children dancing to inappropriate music. Then, the recital was scheduled on a Sunday, Strike one. Scheduled on Father's Day, Strike two. The recital was 3 hours, Strike three! My family and I are now referring to it as the "Recital From Hell"!!! Reminded me of an episode of "Toddler's and Tiara's". It was so ridiculous and even worse waiting 2 and a half hours to see my daughter perform in one dance while several other girls danced several dances and it pretty much all looked the same except for different songs and costumes. And to me, the worst part, the recital was so long that most of the little ones didn't even get to stay for their final bow, how sad!!! Get it together! I've never, even during competitions for Irish Step Dancing was made to sit through 3 hours!!!! $18.00 a ticket? Really? You should have paid me to sit through that!!! Ridiculous!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!!
