Floor has never been cleaned. Dirty place to dance.

Before I sent my kid to this school, many friends warned me not to. They told me their bad experience with them, but I didn't listen. Now after 3 months there, I have no choice but to go to a different place. First, like my friends told me, their management is very unorganized. One day we got there for 6:15 lesson, the teacher didn't finish previous lesson until 6: 45. The manager said it was a mistake of the teacher and nobody knew about it in advance. Another time the lesson lasted for only 30 minutes instead of 45 because there were only two students. The front desk lady said they didn't have to give a full lesson if there were only two or three kids. There were also times they canceled lessons due to their only reason (like a picture day or something) but gave no refund and told me to find time for a makeup lesson. Second, there is only one teacher J in their studio I want my kid to learn with because all others don't seem to be competent. So I asked for this teacher. They made me wait for 3 months and finally put my daughter in her class. After only two weeks, they told me in order to stay in this teacher's class my daughter has to take two classes a week. I asked them if she could take another class with J. They said no, it had to be another teacher. Like I said all other teachers didn't seem to be competent, they didn't have any credential but only " danced for many years", and their lessons are only 45 minutes long. It is almost like if I want to buy a regular apple I have to pair it up with a rotten one and pay for both. One teacher only has two or three kids in her class, obviously they are trying to sell these unpopular classes. Now I see why parents don't recommend this place. I wasted so much time with them. I have looked around and found two or three other schools nearby that have better reputations. By the way, Fine Art might look cheaper but the school take off so many holidays and don't give refund, so at the end you are paying more.

Poor management. My daughter went there for three months, we didn't like it and decided to move to a different school nearby.

As someone who grew up dancing and loving FAAD, I don’t understand the negative reviews. Especially when I myself, and everyone I have referred to this studio have made this place their second home. Every instructor is extremely knowledgeable, not just in the areas they teach, but in so many other styles too. And I know for a fact make up classes are offered and ENCOURAGED to ensure students don’t get behind. My daughter has taken a handful of makeups and I was always given options when I approach the staff about them. My daughter has grown leaps and bounds from where she started all thanks to the incredible instruction here, in tap, jazz and ballet. She has also taken from other ballet instructors in the studio, not the ballet director, and has improved her strength and overall dance capabilities because of it.

My children have been attending Fine Arts Academy of Dance since 2011. Both girls and my son, feel like it’s their second home. They started from the very first level and all the teachers are amazing professionals who are talented and skilled in their form of dance. They are also highly recognized professionals in the industry. Unlike many studios in the area, Fine Arts teaches several forms and all levels of dance, such as: tap, ballet, pointe, jazz, hip hop, and contemporary.

My daughter loves her dance school. They are focused on technique and put on a professional performance once every 18 months. This school is for all the little dancers out there who dream about being a professional dancer when they grow up because this school will take them there. And the price is right. The teachers are great and the lady at the desk is helpful, accommodating and friendly! This school is also great if you just want to try it.

Fine Arts Academy of Dance has not only been a second home to my daughters but a place where they have learned technique and the beauty of dance. The recitals are amazing and the ballet performances are always beautiful. The ballet director has a gift for training young ballerinas to reach their potential. Fine Arts has opened doors for job opportunities in the dance industry. I can’t imagine having my girls dance any where else.
