Before I sent my kid to this school, many friends warned me not to. They told me their bad experience with them, but I didn't listen. Now after 3 months there, I have no choice but to go to a different place.
First, like my friends told me, their management is very unorganized. One day we got there for 6:15 lesson, the teacher didn't finish previous lesson until 6: 45. The manager said it was a mistake of the teacher and nobody knew about it in advance. Another time the lesson lasted for only 30 minutes instead of 45 because there were only two students. The front desk lady said they didn't have to give a full lesson if there were only two or three kids.
There were also times they canceled lessons due to their only reason (like a picture day or something) but gave no refund and told me to find time for a makeup lesson.
Second, there is only one teacher J in their studio I want my kid to learn with because all others don't seem to be competent. So I asked for this teacher. They made me wait for 3 months and finally put my daughter in her class. After only two weeks, they told me in order to stay in this teacher's class my daughter has to take two classes a week. I asked them if she could take another class with J. They said no, it had to be another teacher. Like I said all other teachers didn't seem to be competent, they didn't have any credential but only " danced for many years", and their lessons are only 45 minutes long. It is almost like if I want to buy a regular apple I have to pair it up with a rotten one and pay for both. One teacher only has two or three kids in her class, obviously they are trying to sell these unpopular classes.
Now I see why parents don't recommend this place. I wasted so much time with them.
I have looked around and found two or three other schools nearby that have better reputations. By the way, Fine Art might look cheaper but the school take off so many holidays and don't give refund, so at the end you are paying more.
