I would not recommend anyone sending their children to this studio. There are much better choices in the Northwest Arkansas metro area. For starters, the facility is substandard. The front lobby feels like a sauna on a consistent basis. I'm not sure whether they just want to dissuade spectators or if they are just incompetent with regards to maintaining the cooling system, but it is unbearable. On a number of occassions, the bathroom has been without soap. This is a very basic requirement, especially for an establishment that has lots of CHILDREN with grubby little hands. Why would I want to pay money for my child to receive dance instruction from proprietors that can't even supply the basic comforts of reasonable temperature and sanitation? Giving a child the reinforcement that using the bathroom and not washing your hands with soap is pathetic and not the type of life coaching my children need. I have since taken my children to Williams studio, and it's a world of difference. They are very professional there, unlike the staff at Art of Motion Fayetteville.

My child has danced with Art of Motion or sister company Fayetteville Dance Company for the last four years. While FDC are now owned separate the two AOF and FDC have been a dream for us and work as a family. When my child wanted to start dancing we had heard many great things from parents at school and we found them all to be true. AOM is family and community first where the staff care about the wellness of the kids first and foremost. We are super excited to start our 5th year dancing with this group who support each other and to see their move to a bigger studio. If you’ve been looking for dance for your girl or boy you can’t go wrong. The staff and owner always listen to any feedback you’ve got and truly care. “I love AOF because I get to dance and spend time with my friends I made”. -our kid.

We are extremely happy with our transition from another studio. Art of Motion focuses on building character, positive self-esteem and confidence. Previous dance studios (in town and out of state) made some choices in music which conveyed a negative and demeaning image of young girls in dance. My daughter is starting her second year at Art of Motion. This protective father of 12 year old highly recommends Art of Motion!

AOM is a very good place to take your child. All the staff members are completely devoted to make sure your children have an amazing dance education. My daughter tried it for the first time a couple of years ago because she didn't think the stoido she went to before gave her good traning, but she loves Ms. Ashley's and Mrs. Hannah's way of teaching things. AOM is a very amazing place!!
