My daughter has attended classes at Royal Dance Works since she was 3 years old. She is now 13. The teachers at Royal are excellent. They are talented dancers and choreographers, and they are very aware of how to teach children. They have high expectations, but are also very caring and helpful. Communication at Royal can be improved upon, but with the quality of dance instruction and experiences dancers have there, communication is only a minor issue.

Making the decision of where to start your 3-year-old in dance classes can seem overwhelming- but the decision to stay with the same dance studio 20 years, for us, was easy. Royal Dance Works has truly been our second home. Two daughters, 5 years apart, each began in the 3-year-old combo class where they fell in love with dance and went on to join Performance Company, competing and winning many Top National Awards over the years. Royal Dance Works fostered this love and provided a nurturing and supportive environment, so they could grow in their passion for dance. RDW sets the industry standard by providing professional, dedicated and caring teachers, cutting-edge and award-winning choreography, while exposing their students to all genres of dance for the most well-rounded, quality training. We always knew we were getting the best training, but our daughters also learned many important life skills, including poise, confidence, self-discipline, and teamwork so they could continue to grow and exceed their potential. We have made many cherished friendships and memories over our time at RDW and would highly recommend the studio for whatever your dancer’s desire; be it, a couple of classes per week or a fully, competitive dance schedule. My daughters love it ..staff is great.. Prices are reasonable.... But if you're Child is serious about it like mine and does competition can get quite expensive Between costumes and all the other requirements for classes, shows and competition's ... And the higher they climb in the class the more time money and commitment it will be for you and your child ...

The WORST.... don't waste your time or money. No structure to classes. No real dance studio. They ask you to pay (in full $90.00) for costume you advise them you can't participate with and then, after paying for it, surprises you by saying you can't have it until you pay for additional month... first - keeping something I paid for hostage until they force you to pay yet again. My daughter and granddaughter refuse to let this horrible experience lesson our love for all things dance.. JUST NOT HERE. Please - do your homework here.. you'll do so much better with a real dance studio. Your child's experience will be much more rounded and enjoyable

Royal Dance Works has been my home away from home for the last 18 years and has been such a significant part of my life. From starting out in a combination class at 4 years old to spending nearly every day at the studio as a 10 year member of Royal’s competition/performing company, my passion and love for dance grew at Royal. The director, Carole Royal, has been in the dance business for over 35 years and has the most experience and knowledge to make Royal Dance Works the best place it can be. The assistant director, Lupe, is the heart of the studio and not only shapes you as a dancer, but as a person too. The studio is tightly connected with the professional industry which provides top-notch education quality for the dancers. Royal's alumni has done incredible things, not just in the dance world, but in life itself. They always offer a healthy and safe learning environment. The lounging area is comfortable and offers Wi-Fi which allows to students and parents to work. The people are friendly and welcoming. The front office staff is organized and eager to help you with questions or concerns at any given moment. The classes are diverse and fulfilling. Their teachers are attentive and compassionate, as well as motivating and inspiring. They encouraged me to perform my best and pushed me to my full potential as a dancer and a person. Royal and their faculty has given me the confidence to achieve my goals and taught me to always strive to improve and want to be better in everything I pursue, even after I have graduated from the studio. Royal Dance Works has taught me so much more than just dance. They have taught me skills that I will carry with me throughout life, such as teamwork, responsibility, and commitment. Royal guides you to be the best person and dancer you can possibly be. I feel privileged to have been apart of their Performance Company, which is more than just a team, it is my family. I am forever grateful for the lasting memories and lifelong friendships that Royal has allowed me to have and to have grown up at such a special place. I graduated almost 5 years ago, and still return “home” when I can. I would highly recommend Royal to anyone, no matter what level of dance you are looking for, Royal is truly the best of the best and has something to offer for everyone.
