My girls have been with Anchorage Music and Dance for over 8 years. We started with ballet and for the past 6 years have been taking piano lessons. We love the schedules, variety and particularly the highly educated and professional teachers. The program for music encourages regular recitals that have been highly motivational in the accomplishments for both of my girls and they are becoming very strong and skilled pianist. I couldn’t” be more happy with this company and where my girls are at in their musical education .

From Angelina Ballerina to Dance Fusion to Modern Ballet, I've been very pleased with my child's experiences at Anchorage Music and Dance. The instructors are skilled at both dance and working with children. They make classes fun, while helping students develop self confidence and enjoy the art of dance. The owners are care about kids and families and want to share their appreciation of dance and music with others. I appreciate the online information and registration, too. Excellent studio!

My daughter is 3 years old and has been taking music lessons at the Wasilla location for almost 1 year. She loves it! Her classes are with other kids so going to lessons every week is like a playdate for her with the added benefit of learning the theory of music. She can read notes and play them on the piano and flutophone, and she can identify different instruments just by hearing them played. Music Fun Time has given her a love for music that I hope continues throughout her life.

I can’t say enough great things about Anchorage Music and Dance. We have been with this crew for about 9 years now! What I love the most about this place is that they are able to fulfill so many of my daughter’s musical needs and interests because they have a huge cadre of very talented teachers. My daughter started with ballet in kindergarten. She then moved to group guitar lessons and then private guitar (classical and acoustic). That guitar teacher then began to teach her voice, piano and guitar. She spent some time in a group Rock band class. She then moved to a new teacher that was able to teach ukulele and guitar with voice. Now we are with just piano. This summer she got a started course on cello and is already first chair with orchestra. No matter what my daughter decides to focus on there is always a teacher to support multiple music instruments. Their payment system is easy to understand and they are flexible with changes. They have great customer service no matter how many changes we make. Love these guys!

All of my children have had instruction from various teachers on various instruments throughout the years and have even had lessons in voice and dance. Every instructor over the ten years we have been enrolled at Anchorage Music and Dance Center has been talented, dedicated and enthusiastic about their music and my children. They have collaborated to teach them pieces they could play as a group and have encouraged them to perform together, often, before live audiences. My drummer is disabled and uses a wheelchair and his teachers never tire of finding new ways to adapt drumming for him and push him to develop his talent further, despite his limitations. Thanks for everything AMDC!!

My daughter is 2. We’ve been doing the Music Appreciation class for several months now in Wasilla. We just re-upped for another 8-wk session. I’m really happy with the class and the instructor. He’s really great with little ones and knows how to keep it interesting and educational. I’m looking forward to enrolling her in some dance classes when she gets old enough.

Today's recital was our first with Anchorage Music and Dance. So much to celebrate! Thank you for showcasing the students with an emphasis on the joy of dance! I also sincerely appreciate your commitment to modest costumes and choreography appropriate for children. These elements are sometimes a rare occurrence in student recitals. My daughter had a terrific experience this year with Annie. We are all excited for her to continue at AMDC next year! Thank you again for your family-centered focus and heartfelt work in the arts!

I can't speak highly enough of this school! We have multiple children attending various music and dance lessons so being able to schedule them at the same time is fantastic. The children get along great with all of their teachers, the school seems to emphasize the importance of fun and enjoyment throughout the learning process. This school gets a 10 out of 10 from our family!!:o)
