The staff is very friendly and helpful not pushy. They are honest. They aren't trying to get you to buy the most expensive gown. Genuinely kind and understanding people. Melissa is especially nice. Had a wonderful experience.

I have never met such a rude, unwelcoming staff. We had about 30 minutes before they closed and we were rushing throughout the store because every 10/15 minutes, a lady would remind us that we needed to hurry up. We had time to try on about 2 dresses before we were ushered out the door, which she locked right before 5 o’clock (closing time). We were not offered help getting into or out of dresses, much less picking them out or getting a dressing room. We noticed the lady helping other girls, but didn’t even bother with our group of 5. Previous reviews note how judgemental the staff is, and it is true. They looked at us as though we couldn’t afford to be there. Not to mention this is the 3rd time we have been here, each time worse than the last. 100% will not be back.

Dresses are beautiful, But.. Alterations are outsourced. Very poorly done. They need to find another seamstress. So the dress has to be redone. Now wait and make another trip back. Prom 6 days away.

I have had different experiences each time. I went back in my hs days with a friend (1999) and had a decent experience. When it was my turn a few years later to shop I had a horrible experience. It seemed as though they gave more attention to the ritzy customers. It was like oh they look poor why are they here. 2 years later same thing. I try once more seeing a new girl and she was pleasant and helpful. I wanted the perfect wedding dress. Last year I go in not many dresses I like and as I'm changing I could hear snickering from some of the younger girls. Hearing one say just go to walmart. I was also left in a dress I couldn't get out of and another customer helped me take it off. I hung it up walked right past everyone and not one blink or motion of caring. I still wonder if they even noticed a customer left. I've heard this is common. Difference from my teen years yes we were poor. I remember crying so hard after it. But, this time you lost a customer. God has blessed me with a high paying job. Just word of advice or common sense. We're all human beings with feelings.

In my experience, the employees were relatively nice and accommodating. I have gotten 2 satisfactory dresses from here. However, the selection is terribly disappointing. I am very small, so I can easily find dresses. But I have bigger friends, not even very large, who have left the place crying because they could not find anything flattering in their size, or anything in their size period. Very disheartening for them and disappointing. Should have a more diverse range of size to accommodate all potential patrons. Not sure I'll continue to support the shop without this being resolved.

I went to Barbie's for the first time ever a few weeks ago. I had been following them on social media for about half a year. I never knew it looked at nice as it did. Barbie's has their dresses organized by sizes and has a great selection of the slightly larger sizes(which I appreciate because a lot of stores I've been to range between size 00 - size 10) They also do sales quite frequently so you can get a beautiful dress for a reasonable price(the dress I got was originally 370 dollars and I got it for 100!) Barbie's is wonderful and deserves more credit than it has! I plan to shop there for my future formal dances
