Red Light used to be the go-to for vintage in capitol hill and since that location (and management?) are gone, the redlight in the udist has been a disaster. I keep trying, but somehow it just gets worse? I havent found anything worth buying in years. The organization is non existent (prepare to shuffle through three jammed racks of unsized tshirts), 90% of the stock isn’t even vintage or interesting, the staff don’t care at all and are always on their phones), its always an absolute mess and the music they play is consistently garbage trap that is the nail in the coffin of enjoying the experience. What the hell happened.

Jewelry and women's shoes selections are genuinely great and more than fairly priced. I'm 16/XL and had to go into men's to find multiple things that fit me, but I still made good clothing finds. There are a few high-priced vintage pieces, which is very appropriate to the clientele (though if you're not obsessed with coolness it is a bit silly).

Had a few food punk/metal/grunge t-shirts and some boot that caught my eye, but not many good ones IMO. Seems to be a great shop for woman's vintage clothes, but a great one at that. (I think) they had a selection from the past 6 eras? Seemed cool, laid back people, but a clean place with some cool retro art. Oh, and some awesome pins by the front counter!

Don't expect to return anything. I purchased a couple pairs of tights for a costume. I went home and realized they wouldn't work before even opening them. I took them back this morning and both employees working there told me they would accept return on accessories even if they were unopened.

Glad others have experienced "friendly" staff here, I have not. Today a female with short blond hair dressed up like a vampire made it clear I was not cool enough to have a conversation with. I asked two basic casual questions about the store and she responded as curtly as if I'd asked her for personal info, subtext of "why are you even talking to me?" Not sure if she didn't think my outfit was cool enough or what. Someone else walked in the door as I was leaving and her face lit up and she greeted them like an actual human being. I go here a couple of times a month, I'm not a tourist. Not sure what you have to do to get the cool points with the snobby young salespeople.

This place is great! It reminds me of my grandmothers closet. I was able to find a fabulous dress for a disco themed party and my husband found some horribly wonderful polyester pants too! It definitely takes some time to sift through their many racks of clothes but I love how they have clothing divided by decade, it makes it really easy to narrow down your search. Parking can be a little tricky but not the worst I’ve seen. I’ll definitely be coming back for any vintage clothing needs!

Had the most awful experience here the other day I shop here quite often and love it but the other day I purchased an item that was 50% off and the employee rung it up full price. When I pointed it out she acted like it was my fault that she missed the sale price. Three employees could not figure out how to give me a refund and were so incredibly rude to me the whole time I waited a total of 20 minutes only to recieve $10 store credit and no apology for their mistake. I was really upset because I love this store but the rude employees made me feel really uncomfortable and frustrated about shopping here in the future.

Super unique style with friendly staff. They have some amazing vintage finds. I got a vintage Mickey Mouse sweater and a cool looking red jacket with horses on it. The prices are pretty reasonable; I was there when they had a sale going on. There’s a large range of items to choose from that’ll suit any style. Truly a fun place to shop; I hope to go there again soon!

It's fun to find treasures here! The organization could be a bit better. Some areas are organized by era and then size, but another area is just organized by color. They only give store credit for returned items.

I used to absolutely love this place a year ago! But after my encounter with the (I don’t know if they’re new or not) rude staff, I was completely put off. They have an absolutely wonderful selection of clothing but the staff was absolutely rude. When I walked in and walked up to the counter, the two sales associates where engaged in conversation, LOOKED at me and then continued until I spoke up. Then, the salesperson talked down to me as if I was a kid and there was just an overall tone of condescension. Sorry my appearance wasn’t edgy enough lmao Advice: Just shop on depop or another vintage/ thrift store instead

Very low quality customer service, workers were very uptight and just seemed like closing was the most important thing for them even though they were still open. Felt very uncomfortable shopping in the store; felt rushed. I purchased an item not knowing it happened to be fake, and denied my refund and called the cops for "harassment/not leaving the property. This finally ended with Red Light Vintage not refunding me and cursing at me (a customer just like anyone else)to keep away from the store. FOR THOSE WHO DONT KNOW ! THIS STORE SELLS FAKE STUFF AND WILL NOT REFUND YOU FOR YOUR PURCHASE. BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU BUY!!! Maybe even try Buffalo Exchange right down the street sells Vintage clothes as well BUT DOES NOT SELL FAKE MERCHANDISE, at better prices, and ultimately customer service. OBVIOUSLY
