Love this place but costs are high. Had an event that I wanted to dress fun for and THIS was the place that had the goods. ANY idea you have they can help with and they will take the time to make it work for ya. Sadly with all the great customer service comes a high price. $170 for a 1 day rental for a "Zoot Suit" that could have been purchased at Goodwill for $1.70. I left the store disappointed and angry at the waste of my time and theirs.

It is a little confusing which pieces are available to rent and which pieces are only available for purchase. The store is a little cluttered, but that is half the fun! There are a ton of costumes for selection and you can try them all on. Beautiful masks, makeup, and wigs were a nice surprise to see too. The only complaint I have is that there are not many "cute" plus size costumes. Most of the larger ones they had were fairly matronly. The staff is very knowledgeable and willing to help you look and find things :) I will definitely go back :)

I got my Halloween costume here and it absolutely rocked! It was expensive, but it was also very cool. The staff was extremely attentive and helped out a lot. I had a wide variety to choose from and I doubt you'll be disappointed no matter what your price range is.

Lovely store for not only Halloween season, but for parties and events as well! You can also rent in case you don't want to buy. I believe you can't return items. There is a huge selection of items, even make up options. It can get crowded when there are long lines, but the store itself had all the items I needed!

I've been getting costumes there for over 6 years, both purchased and rentals. They have tons of great quality costumes, the staff is always helpful and they know the items in the store really well. They are very strict about their return policy, so make sure to bring it back on time. If you don't, it's your on fault, don't blame them, they're great people!

This is not okay. The "costumes" of Indians for sale/rent at your store - parodies of Native American culture - promote offensive stereotypes of people who deserve much for respect than this. Native Americans are not monsters or jokes to be mocked and paraded about. There's a reason why all the models for these outfits are white people - you'd be hard pressed to find an actual Native American who would help promote this same sort racist nonsense that's been inflicted on their people for 500 years now. Please either drop them, or explain why you won't.

Best place for costumes, accessories, and makeup. Rental as well as purchase options. The staff are really engaged, and work hard to help you put together something really special. They have costumes and accessories for kids as well as adults. My son rented his costume for his school play. Extensive sections for medieval and renn faire festivals. One of a kind items for affordable rent. I highly recommend.

The day before Halloween, 10 minutes before closing, and the store was hopping. The associates were so nice they never stopped helping customers find what they were looking for (including helping me find makeup), and cheerfully ringing up a line that was continuing on probably after closing. I'm impressed. Parking isn't great, but it wraps around the building--you can park on the other side of the building, near Mox.

The customer service I got today was horrible. I was there for almost a two hours trying the costumes on and eventually picked the one I liked but the price on the tag didn't match the price I been told by associate...... and they wasn't able to find the solution for it so walk out with the worst experience

Really cool costumes and accessories ranging from simple, easy and cheap to professional, theatre-quality gear. Their masquerade masks are incredible. They have gear that is available to rent and changing rooms in the back. I'd recommend it, even just for a quick peruse!

Went here around Halloween time for a costume party outfit and can't recommend enough. Even during their busiest time of year, they paid attention to us, took the time to help us find what we needed, try things on, etc. and the entire experience was conducted professionally and by very friendly staff. And they had a full store with a ton of costumers that day too. They have an excellent selection of costumes in a variety of sizes, styles, fabrics, etc. You can really customize your own look. Reasonable prices, reasonable return policy. Highly recommend.

I went in to Masquerade to find an outfit for a 20's theme both employees were so helpful and nice and really made me feel great. I was checking out and paying for my items and my experience went side ways not because of the employees it was because of the owner that happen to show up. In my years I have never experienced such a rude and abusive behavior of an owner to her employees. She was extremely rude to her employees in front of a customer. I was shocked and I would never put up with the attitude nor the abusive behavior ( really condescending) I only hope her employees under stand that this is not acceptable.

Walked into the store for the first time ever to return a rented costume for a family remember and immediately the energy in there was not happy. One employee was speaking to another with a major attitude. I felt bad for her in there. Owner ended up yelling st my family member over the phone 10 mins later when my family called to ask about just buying the costume. Definitely not going back.

I'm surprised at the amount of times I find myself needing to go back to Masquerade. They just have EVERYTHING. Their costumes are organized by time period, genre, the selection is amazing. They have a whole wall dedicated to beards and wigs. Shelves upon shelves of well-crafted hats and jewelry. That's right kids, this shop sells QUALITY costumes. And they rent out costumes and gear for cheap! You have the option to buy as well, if you just can't live another day without owning that Abe Lincoln stove pipe hat you've been ogling. The staff is excellent. They dress up in costume and know their stuff. The store owner is a wonderful woman who is passionate about what she does. This place is awesome!

I Went into the store trying to figure out what I wanted to wear for a wedding. I was thinking about going as a pirate and I was looking at the fake guns and seeing how they work and the difference sounds. Owner of the store took this the item out of my hands and said "let's put that back so that paying customer can take it up to the register and pay for it. And so I don't have to hear that clicking sounds." As a black young adult I am very very offended. I hope she was just having a bad day l. But I know I will not go back to that store ever. Very disappointed.
