What started out as a frustrating day ended amazingly thanks to online formals. My daughter and I had been shopping for a prom dress all day, with no luck. We stumbled across online formals, and they took care of us as soon as we walked in the door. They made finding a dress so easy and fun! we both left the shop with smiles on our faces.

After a long day going from boutique to boutique and seeing so many options (none of the boutiques cater to the vision) with only 15 min left we opted to go to one more boutique Onlineformals, with minutes till closing Steve and Michelle open their arms with elite options, better then options they held the dress that my daughter has invisioned for her special event her Quinceanero. Their selection was amazing! My daughter wanted a floral dress, and when they didn't have it in the showroom, they immediately got on the phone and had it shipped! Wish I would've found them years ago!!

Very welcoming and accommodating! Trying on clothing in general is usually so stressful, but OnlineFormals actually made this a positive experience. While they were incredible with finding me a flattering dress that was both within budget but also specific to my needs, they didn't pressure me into buying any of their dresses or push me to the more expensive options. They were all about the guest experience. I appreciate that their feedback on each dress I tried on for my prom was both honest and real, and I had an amazing time in my dress! Definitely recommend. Michelle and Steve is amazing and super sweet! I didn't feel rush at all. In fact they pulled more dress for me to try on! I usually only like one or two dress in a store but i seriously loved every single dress in this showroom! Just gorgeous! They even gave me coffee! I definitely recommend this place! I can't wait to come back for more dresses!

I bought a full length La Femme gown 19396 for a Masquerade Ball, October 2014. This store really raises the bar. The quality of the gowns blows other local stores out of the water! (and trust me I look everywhere before I buy anything) The storefront on Northlanding Rd in Virginia Beach was very well kempt and beautiful, clean and sophisticated. It is run by appointment, so you get an experience that is about YOU. I had their undivided attention the whole time I was there. Stephen and Michelle are FANTASTIC! They are very knowledgeable about the designers and products, but more importantly they are personable. They went out of their way to make sure my experience was perfect and I had the right dress. (I was weary about ordering something I had not tried on- I probably sent an inquiry on 40 gowns). But they made sure I left with the right one, and I have never been happier with a dress purchase!! Oh, and it arrived in less than a week!

AWESOME buying experience! I had been shopping all day long with my niece looking for a prom dress. My niece is the "average" size girl and it seemed that every store we shopped only catered to size 0 (plus their attitude showed it!). OnlineFormals Dress Boutique was our last resort. I'm so glad we went there. The owner and his staff made my niece feel like a princess! They had a good selection and if they didn't have the right size, they could order it. My niece left with a beautiful dress at an affordable price. And...she left with the respect and the self confidence that "every" young girl deserves. Thank You So Much OnlineFormals! Everything was great! The store was very clean and well-organized and there was a very wide variety of dresses for the formal event that I am going to. Steve was extremely accommodating in helping me find a dress for a military ball that was also flattering on me and he even stayed late to help me find the right dress. All of the dresses were in great condition as well. Steve also gave me advice on how to alter the dress to get it to fit properly in areas that it was either too big or too long. I shopped at a few department stores and a lot of their dresses looked battered, were too young-looking (like for high school dances), or too mature for me (like mother-of-the-bride dresses). I am 24 and wanted something youthful, but not teenager-ish, but also mature. Steve suggested a beautiful light blue dress with a medium amount of sequins and it was so flattering, and was the dress I ended up getting. This store had by far the best options out there. They also give a recommendation on where to get alterations. I am glad I shopped at Onlineformals Dress Boutique.

This store was a breath of fresh air. So I was pretty desperate when I came to this store, because in the same day I had gone to two other stores, looking for one specific dress, knowing that I would most likely need to order it. At the other two stores I was treated very poorly and I probably had the worst shopping experiences at the other stores. So, I called ahead and I was helped over the phone by Mr. Steve who was very helpful. He found my dress online immediately and explained everything that would go into buying that dress online, over the phone (which was something that I could not get an answer about at the other stores). He explained their return policy, which by the way is FANTASTIC, and he encouraged me to come in and get sized to make sure that he was ordering the right dress for me. I went in and he was exceedingly helpful. He even put me in another dress by the same designer just to be completely sure that I was going to get the right size (sizing was another issue at the other stores). He then sat down with us and went over pricing and the return policy AGAIN just to be thorough, and he even went as far as to call the designer to make certain that they had my dress in stock. As we were sitting there it became very apparent that he was very knowledgable about the brands that he carries and the pricing of each brand. We ordered the dress and he gave us an estimate of when the dress would arrive and I cannot wait to go back! 10/10 would recommend.

I purchased my daughter a La Femme gown from them after he searching relentlessly for 3 months. I spoke with Steven on a couple of occasions and he told me the dress I was asking about was even more gorgeous in person. I ordered the dress and was blown away by how gorgeous this dress really was. The beading and every detail was just like the picture. Most online companies tell you everything you want to hear and when you get your order, it's nothing like the picture. I am so glad I found them and will use them again in the future!

Loved our experience with Online Formals. My daughter is plus sized and was concerned about finding a dress she really liked. The first dress she tried on at the boutique was outstanding. She tried her best to top it but kept coming back to this dress. Everyone was so helpful and patient. You truly receive the personal touch. Steve even walked the dress to our car for us. My husband was impressed with that gentleman's touch. They even referred us to an outstanding tailor that altered the dress for us. So beyond grateful for this place, the owner and the staff. i was on spring break from michigan and we wanted to buy my prom dresses in a different state so nobody else would have them. After going to 4 different dress stores in the area i was ready to give up until i found this gem. i was going to two proms and was going to get one dress but ended up getting stuck between two dresses. the owner gave us an amazing deal and i was able to get both dresses. The staff was so kind and just happy which made me happy. i got two stunning dresses and had two unforgettable nights. so thank you for playing a part in making both my proms unbelievably stellar.

I went to three Dillards, and two Macys, before going to Onlineformals for my prom dress this year. I wish I had went here first. There are so many dress options, different colors, and brands. I'm a size 15 so I was pretty shocked to see so many dresses in my size. The gentleman that works in here, was so nice and helpful. I ended up getting a beautiful coral Sherri Hill dress for a GREAT price, it even came with a nice dress bag.

I had a smaller budget than most and they were still able to help me find a dress! I needed an evening gown for a formal military event and they helped me find a dress that was elegant, modest, and classy-- NOT a prom dress or bridesmaid dress, which were the only options I could find elsewhere.
